I make my home in Utah, USA.
I’m 5'4" tall and 23 years of age.
I visit the board daily.
My Stats: 185?/150/125
My Size Stats: 16/10-12/7-8
I don't use ketostix.
I started Atkins on 8-5-00.
I'm currently on maintenence, so stay under 100 carbs a day- doing a form of CAD for maintenence. I tried spreading my carbs out through the day better, but I have better control of my eating if I keep most of them in the evening.

My exercise regime:

  • at LEAST 1 mile on the treadmill, 4 days a week.

What I usually eat in a day:

  • Breakfast:
    3 eggs, scrambled or fried, sometimes sausage or bacon
  • Lunch:
    usually Tuna salad, or Taco Salad
  • Dinner:
    Whatever I fix for dh, usually meat, salad and veggies. An occasional starch.
  • Snack:
    Sunflower Seeds, hard boiled eggs, jerky

My favorite recipe:

  • For a while it was Atkins Cheese cake- but I think I overdosed on it, and got tired of it. Lately it's been Low Carb Waffles.

My inspiration:

  • Wanting to be able to have the energy to run and keep up with my 18 month old son, and to feel good about myself.
My goal:
  • I'm still gonna someday fit back into the jeans I wore on my Honeymoon. Hoping to get pregnant soon, and maintain a good weight throughout my pregnancy.

Have you experienced any negative effects:

  • Only when I eat too many carbs---- I get headaches.

My comments:
I was on Atkins diet about 6 years ago and lost a lot of weight- but didn't stick to the maintence plan and make it a WOL- so I'm back where I started. But I learned my lesson and it WILL be a WOL this time. Oh- and I almost forgot- here's an "after" ok- a during picture Why is it that the only pictures I have of myself have that cute little boy in them too?! lol
