I make my home in Seattle, WA, USA.
I visit the board daily.
My Stats: 178/154.5/120.
My Size Stats: 12-14/??/??.
I usually test trace.
I started Atkins on 10/13/99.
I restrict myself to 20-30 grams of carbs.

My exercise regime:

  • When I have the time, I walk on a treadmill, use the weight machine or the stairclimber.

What I usually eat in a day:

  • Breakfast:
    scambled eggs, sausage or bacon ... sometimes half a piece of french toast with cinnamon
  • Lunch:
    string cheese and an atkins bar, sometimes a piece of ham or other meat
  • Dinner:
    steak, chicken, or fish ... fixed one of a hundred ways, most of the time with cheese or veggies
  • Snack:
    sugar free jello, nut crackers and borsons cheese, pepperoni or cashews.

My favorite recipe:

  • Chocolate Shake (this is goooooooood!)

    1 cup of heavy cream
    2 cups of ice
    1/4 cup of splenda
    1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa
    1 teaspoon of vanilla

    put all in the blender and let her go! makes 3 shakes, top with cinnamon. also wonderful to add a little kamora or kaluha (little higher in carbs, but a nice treat)

My inspiration:

  • Seeing people look at me twice and wonder to themselves how I'm losing so much weight ... but be scared to ask because they don't want to offend!
My goal:
  • Is to buy a whole new wardrobe at the faires this summer!

Have you experienced any negative effects:

  • bad breath and sore joints (which we helped by taking extra potassium). also irregular TOTM.
