I make my home in New Jersey, USA.
I'm 5'4" tall.
I'm 51 years of age.
I visit the board daily.
My Stats: 275/260/145.
My Size Stats: 24/10.
I usually test light purple.
I started Atkins on 2/15/00.
I restrict myself to under 20 grams of carbs.
My exercise regime:
- I just dusted the cobwebs off my NordiTrack, and tried it
for the first time in a long time. Did't last too long, but it's a
start. I started walking again for 30 minutes a day. I was never one
for exercise, so it's really hard!
What I usually eat in a day:
- Breakfast:
I'm really not a breakfast person, but I've been making sure I eat some
protein each morning, maybe eggs, or a piece of leftover chicken, or
cheese.
- Lunch:
For lunch, I have leftover chicken, or some ham & cheese roll ups, or a
cheeseburger (no bun, of course).
- Dinner:
Dinner is meat or chicken, green beans or aspargus, cucumber with sour
cream. I have a salad occasionally.
- Snack:
Snacks are some cheese, or Jello with whipped cream.
My favorite recipe:

Pork & Saurekraut
Brown some pork cubes in butter or oil, till dark brown. Add 1 cup of
rinsed and drained saurekraut, and mix well, scraping the bottom of the
pan. Add a salt, pepper and paprika, and about 1/4 cup of water.
Bring to boil, cover pan,then lower heat to low, and simmer slowly for
1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir often, adding small amounts of water (1/4 cup)
as needed, till pork is very tender. Before serving, add 1/4 cup of
sour cream, if desired.
My inspiration:
- I want to feel good. I want to look good., I want to be
able to play on the floor with my 3 little grandsons and be able to get
up easily. My husband started this with me, and I want the two of us
to grow old together. I've known him forever, been married for 31
years, (we were babies ourselves.) We're best friends, and hopefully,
we'll grow old and "THIN" together!
My goal:
- Enjoy the beach without hiding under a long coverup. Shop for clothes
in "ANY" store. Take a bike ride on the boardwalk with my husband and
grandsons! Borrow clothes from my daughters. Go on a long hike with
my son. And just enjoy life a lot more easily!
