I make my home in Alabama, USA.

My Stats: 248/235/160.
My Size Stats: 26-28/22-24/13-14.
I usually test purple.
I started Atkins on 10-18-99.
I restrict myself to 20 - 30 grams of carbs and Caffeine.

My exercise regime:

  • I do try to excercise in between work and cooking, but I have to admit...it sure wouldn't kill me to do more.
  • I have an easy rider exercise machine and also some aerobics tapes that at use when possible.

What I usually eat in a day:

  • Breakfast:
    • 1 egg 2 pieces bacon
  • Lunch:
    • Leftovers from night before...or a salad
  • Dinner:
    • Meats brocolli, squash (small amounts) cauliflower
  • Snacks:
    • Lots and lots of Sugar Free Jello...usually with whipped cream.
    • Cheesecake
    • Macadamia Nuts
    • Peanut Butter
    • I also have Peanut Butter sandwiches when I have Bread made.Ê I use the Low Carb Bread Machine Mix that I ordered off the net .... it is pretty good.

My finspiration:

  • My husband I would say has to be my biggest inspiration.Ê Since we have been together (1989) I have gained appx. 80lbs.Ê He is wonderful!!!Ê I know he would like to have me back down to size for my health mainly, but also for the obvious reasons...it's more attractive.
  • Also there are 2 others at work on the diet and I find they are the ones that need encouragement and they are the ones cheating.Ê I realize I have more willpower than I ever thought I would and that is really a Boost.

My inspiration:

  • When (you notice I say "When" not "If") I loose this weight I want to Get Pregnant!!!Ê We have tried for 7 years. (it doesn't have anything to do with the weight though).
  • I will have to go through a procedure to have children and it also increases the chance of multiple births.Ê The last thing I want to do is go into a high risk pregancy at this weight.

Have you experienced any negative effects:

  • The only negative effects I can see is....I can't sleep late!!ÊÊ :) I just have too much energy!!!!!!! If this is the only negative I have (other than having to cook more)Ê I will be grateful.

My comments:
To everyone out there that may get discouraged or have a downfall and cheat...Just remember, have the courage to pick yourself back up.Ê You have been overweight this long, if you make a mistake it is not the end of the world. It did not take you overnight to gain all the weight and do not expect to loose it overnight either. I wish all of you the best of luck!!!!!!!
