I make my home in Central Massachusetts, USA.
I’m 5'6" tall and 29 years of age.

I usually test pink.
I've been on/off Atkins since 1-2000.
I restrict myself to under 20 grams of carbs.
My exercise regime:
- I have three machines: a treadmill (I hate it) which I need to make more exciting, a
recumbant, whisper quiet stationary bike, and a torso track (harder than I thought!)
I try to something aerobic and non aerobic each day...cycling, then doing weight training
later. Or, sometimes, I just want to go go go until I drop. Then there are times I just need
a break. I printed a chart of my 4 favorite exercises: walking, aerobic dancing, cycling, and
weight training. My plan is to organize these onto a large calendar so I remember what day it
is! The hardest part is that I have panic attacks, so it can be scary to feel my heart rate go
up. That's about it...Got the pieces, the plan, but need more motivation!.
What I usually eat in a day:
- I usually eat atkins pancakes, eggs, or a shake or bar for breakfast. Lunch is
usually a ceasar salad with chicken. For dinner, I try new meat recipes, but also add iin
fish, especially Salmon. For snacks, I will get a hot decaf coffee with sweet&low, hot
tea-decaf, or a shake or bar.

This is sooo easy!
Get boneless chix breasts, cut them in halves. Spay a cooking pan (9x13) with extra Pam or
with oil or butter (your choice! Place the halved breasts in the pan. Bake at 350 for about
20 mins. Then open the oven and put on the cheeses...I use feta, parmesean (real grated deli
stuff) Pecco Romano (deli), shredded cheddar, and a tish of mozzarella. Bake for 15 mins or
until the cheese starts to loook al melty and brown, and you should be done! Serve over
Broccoli spears, and you're done!
My inspiration:
- I want to look better, and get healthier! I was on the borderline of type 2
diabetes, so started this, and am now out of the danger zone. I want to walk into any female
store, and try on stuff that just FITS!! And, I DO NOT mean plus stores! Also, one of these
days I want to have a baby tic tic tic... So I want/need to be in the best possible shape for
that event!
My goal:
- Take lots of pictures of me, hang them on my special wall, spend at least one day in a
skimpy outfit without adjusting a thing, and look in the mirror and revel...then donat all my
fat clothes to a womens' shelter, and buy all new stuff from underwear and bras (now 38/40 ddd)
all the way to accessories!
Have you experienced any negative effects:

When I go off the diet due to stress or emotional eating, I feel so negative and
guiolty. I justify the next day of eating badly, then say I will start again, but that can
take 2 weeks or so! I would love a chef to prep only low carb meals!
My comments: I had posted an idea for a Massachusetts group for the extra support (or Kick in
the Ass!) for times when noone wants to exercise or who wants to go off the diet... Please tell
me what you think. Oh, I am a professional teacher (7yrs now!) I have a Master's Degree, and
want to get into administrative work. So, I do want to be taken very seriously.
