Meet RL

I make my home in Michigan, USA.
I visit the board 3X - 4X daily.
My Stats: 239/194/140.
My Size Stats: 22-24/16/12.
I usually test pink.
I started Atkins on 10/6/99.
I restrict myself to 20-30 grams of carbs.

My exercise regime:

  • Exercise in spurts. Exercise bike / skier / ab roller

What I usually eat in a day:

  • I start the day with a cup of decaf green tea. I usually wake up at 4:30 and have that around 5:00. If I'm hungry, I have breakfast. Hormel bacon and eggs. Lunch and dinner vary. I love steaks, shrimp, cod and chicken by tons. These are accompanied by salad with crumbled eggs and pork rinds with dijon dressing or oil / vinegar. Love cucumber and sour cream salad, stir fried asparagus, zucchini and a little mushroom fried in olive oil. Snacks - pork rinds in a million ways, sf jello and whipped cream. I miss onions badly!! Love cheese, but try to minimize because of its constipating tendencies. Always have tuna salad in the fridge.

My favorite recipe:

  • Chicken or Shrimp Carbonara:
Slice 2 chicken breasts like for stir fry. Fry up 4 pieces of Hormel Bacon (.36 grams). Take the bacon out cut into small pieces. Throw chicken or shrimp into the bacon grease. Add 1/4 cup of mushrooms (4 grams). Sprinkle generously with McCormick Montreal chicken seasoning. Add 1/4 cup cream (Kroger heavy whipping says O gr but is .5) 2.0 grams. Cook until thick. Sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan if desired. (You can throw in asparagus or top with chopped scallions if you want.) The rest of the family eats it with fettucine or linguine. I can eat this whole batch for only 6.36 grams

My inspiration:

  • I want to live!!! I have found that this works. It is something I can do for the rest of my life. I want to live a long life with my husband and I want to see our children grown.
My goal:
  • Have a picture taken! Buy beautiful clothes. Thank my husband for being here for me through it all because the best is yet to be.

Have you experienced any negative effects:

  • Bad breath. (Did I say bad - killer breath). Constipation.

My comments:
The great people of this board have been a monumental source of support and information. I couldn't do it without you. Thanks to all!!
