I make my home in Las Vegas, NV, USA.
I visit the board daily.
I'm 5'4" tall
I'm 45 years of age
My Stats: 222/193/130.
My Size Stats: 18-20/16/10.
I usually test pink.
I started Atkins on and off November 1998.
I restrict myself to 20-30 grams of carbs.

My exercise regime:

  • I do water exercise class 2 days per week thru the Arthritis Foundation. I lift small weights 3 times a week. I try to walk on the treadmill 1 time a week for 30 minutes.

What I usually eat in a day:

  • Breakfast:
    1 cup of coffee, 2 eggs, sometimes bacon, sometimes left overs from dinner.
  • Lunch:
    meat (lots of chicken) cheese, celery with cream cheese
  • Dinner:
    meat and salad. I also love chicken wings dipped in ranch dressing. I order those alot if we are out. I also enjoy grilled chicken ceasar salads.
  • Snack/dessert:
    sugar free jello or cheesecake with no crust or sometimes sugar free pudding made with 1/2 cream 1/2 water.

My favorite recipe:

  • Cheesecake recipe on back of knox gelatin box. (made with 5 packets of sweetener for the sugar and no crust)

My inspiration:

  • Since I have severe arthritis and fibromyalgia my inspiration is bettering my health and having less pain!
My goal:
  • Take a cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary in June 2001. Go shopping for a new wardrobe.

Have you experienced any negative effects:

  • irregular heart beats (these go away with extra potassium) sometimes headaches and dizziness (but not too bad)

My comments:
I enjoy the board. I try not to get discouraged. I know that someday the weight will be gone.
