I started Atkins on 11/10/99.
I restrict my intake of carb's to20-30 a day.
Other restricting Dairy, Caffeine, Sugar.
I usually test light purple.

 

My exercise regime:

  • I am pretty big yet and not comfortable doing exercise. I am able to walk a little more comfortably, so I tend to park farther away instead of finding a spot close because I couldn't walk only 15 ft. without my back spasming. I have a Pilates Performer and will definitely do that as soon as a little more stomach melts off (which is happening quickly). I also have the TAE BO workout tapes and can't wait to try them. They look like fun!!

What I usually eat in a day.

  • Breakfast:
    Bacon or sausage
    scrambled eggs

  • Lunch:
    Sometimes a taco salad from Taco Bell(no beans, extra sour cream, don't eat shell!)

  • Dinner:
    Meat
    green beans or "not-potatoes"

  • Snack:
    Pork rinds
    cheese

  • Haven't really found one yet.

My inspiration.

  • Just the fact that I was seriously considering stomach stapling as a last resort! And the quickness of which I'm seeing results alone would do it for anyone!!

Have you experienced any negative effects.

  • Some really nasty diarrhea in my 3rd week. I take a Fiber Con tablet now and it's helped.
