| The Royal Sovereign Imperial Court of All Kentucky was founded
in 1981 as the Imperial Court of the Bluegrass, by Blanche Pinke and Greg
Butler. While living in Alaska, they were members of the Imperial
Court chapter up there. Upon moving to Lexington, they decided to
start a chapter in Kentucky. With the eventual association with the
former Denver Sovereign Court, the Kentucky court has moved forward to
the present day. We are the oldest court east of the Mississippi
River. The court system raises money by holding benefits and events,
and donates the net proceeds to the designated charities of the particular
year. The reigning monarchs decide which charities are designated.
Each year Coronation is held. At this event, an election takes place for the new Empress and Emperor, as well as the council members. The Council is the everyday body of the organization. The Board of Directors oversees the council. The Royal Sovereign Imperial Court of All Kentucky, The Bluegrass Empire, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization. |
