Greetings fellow space travelers.
Who Am I?
For all of you who want the basic stats, I am a male to female transsexual living full time. I am 46 years old and a BBW, Big Beautiful Woman i.e., fat. I am also a lesbian. I am 5-11 and have red hair and occasionally dark brown. I am currently working on a masters degree in sociology.
I have always had an interest in human sexuality. This interest began when I began puberty. While that is not unusual for young boys growing into manhood, my problem was that I did not want to grow up to be a man. I had this silly notion that my penis would fall off when I hit puberty and I would become a girl. I was very scared and confused and started reading about homosexuality, transsexualism and transvestism. It took me over forty years to accept the fact that I was a transgendered lesbian. In fact, that exploration is still not over. That is why I have dedicated this page to the exploration of gender and sexuality. That is why I have put up hundreds of links for information on the net. Even, though it took me two decades to discover myself, and to be honest I am still discovering myself, I do not want to see anyone suffering through years of alcohol and substance abuse, depression and suicide attempts as I did. Also, this page will change almost daily. So book mark it and come back often. This list is designed for those transgendered people who have a disability. As a transgendered person with a disability (I have been visually impaired since birth), I have found that there are not a lot of places on the Internet where we can gather and chat. I hope that this list serves the purpose of taking up some of that slack. Please take the time and introduce yourself. There is not to be any trolling, personals, or flaming.

Abused Trans
This list is designed for those transgendered people who have issues with emotional, physical or sexual abuse, either in the past or in the present. Growing up, I was constantly being abused by my peers for being the fat kid with thick glasses. There is a possibility that I may have been sexually molested as well. However, I can not remember the particular incident. While by no means am I well versed in abuse, I am hoping that us victims can learn from each other and in turn begin the healing. BBW Trans is a place for us larger trans-people, a place where we can relax and give each other support. While there is no rule against those who are not BBW trans-people, I request that you be respectful and do not hit on others in the group and please no personals.
