THE CLUB ROOM in my cyberspace house represents the clubs and organizations to which I belong. Over the years I have belonged to many different organizations and clubs. As my needs and interests have evolved, most of these organizations were left behind as I traveled on. But two organizations are still very important to me. My Philosophy on Clubs/Organizations
All of us are on our own personal journey through life. That journey will be easier if we associate with others who share some of the same goals, values, and destinations in life.
Even though I am an individualist, and often prefer to be alone, there are advantages of being an active member of a group. First there is strength in numbers. When people come together to achieve common goals, more is accomplished than one individual working alone could achieve. Secondly, groups can provide suport and encouragement when the road through life becomes difficult. For these and many other reasons, groups will always be a part of my life.

alt.rasap is a newsgroup for gay men 40 and over. (We don't post a guard at the front door so if you are under 40 or are a woman you will not be thrown out.) We are located in the alt.hierarchy. Most of us are WebTv users so if you use a computer and your browser does not read HTML codes in E-mail and newsgroup posts you may notice a lot of HTML codes in our messages that we use for graphics and special effects. Ignore these or go to http://www.dejanews.com/ and enter: alt.rasap in the quick search box and you can read all of our messages.
alt.rasap members are located all over the USA and occasionally we have visitors from the UK. We are a friendly and fun group. We talk about many things; sometimes serious, sometimes humorous. New members are always welcome.

FOG (Fellowship of Older Gays) was founded in September of 1993. We are a social activities group for gay men. We have many activities throughout the month.
