Description:

Dolcea stands 5' 11", with a fair complexion common to wood elves. slender and of average build for an elf, Dolcea has the features common to all wood elves. Dolcea dresses in earthy tones of brown and green, usually in the slacks and tunics common to her people.

History:

Born in the town of Ridgecrest, Dolcea didn't have much of a childhood. At the age of six Dolcea was apprenticed to the shaman of the town. She never saw much of her sister, Lysia.

Dolcea learned quickly and always wanted to know more. She spent a lot of her time at the ocean near her home conversing with dolphins and sea otters. she learned many things from the dolphins, including much about her cousins, the sea elves. One day she found a stranded dolphin on the beach. she helped in back into the water, and the dolphin changed form. Before her stood the goddess of the sea, Decetes. She thanked Dolcea for her kindness. and offered her a small  conch shell on a necklace. The goddess told her that if ever she came to water and needed help all she had to do was blow into the conch and aid would arrive. Dolcea thanked the goddess and promised to always take care of the dolphins. The goddess smile and left.

One day while at the ocean her home was attacked and burned by a rogue band of bandits. when Lysia returned later that day she saw what had happened to her home. she searched for survivors. few of her people had survived the attack. She found her sister buried under a haystack bleeding and unconscious, but alive none the less. she searched for her parents after tending to Lysia's wounds, but found no sign of them. Only her mothers locket.

From that moment on Dolcea swore that she would never let anything like this happen again to her home. She would one day find her sister and avenge her people. Her sister too took up that oath .

Dolcea now resides in her home with her sister maintaining and rebuilding the forest she once knew. She still visits her friends at the ocean, and seeks guidance from Decetes.
