Neches River Float Trip

Spring 99

Above: Crystal, Beck and Tina tie canoes together as we slowly float. The River is a lazy float trip with not too many snags and plenty of wide spots.

Below: Mandy, Sheldon, Tina and Crystal check out the beach at one of the many sandbars. You can do overnight trips and stay at campsites set up on several beaches.

Lunch Time

Sheldon, Sandy and Mandy with 3 canoes tied together for lunch break. The river has no white water but offers an enjoyable, relaxing float. Some knowledge of stearing with a paddle is all you need, and plenty of beverages!
