Description: This family excells at the long distance. They also are great with head wind races with speeds below 1400 ypm. This family is responsible for Champion Bird GNCC Concourse 65+ Flyers Old Birds; Champion Bird NCC Combine Young Bird 35+ Flyers. Both birds accomplished these feats off the line of flight. This family has proven in the tough New York competition.
Gurnay
Description: These birds are great at the tough races. If your speeds go down to 1000 ypm these are the birds. The tougher the race the better they fly. Responsible for multiple combine wins from 200 to 600 miles.
Stichelbaut
Description: Most likely some of the best distance pigeons in the country. These birds are the foundation of many of the top lofts in the country. Stock from Parksdon Loft. Parksdon Loft stock from Waldo Slie, one of the top breeders in the country.
Adams Strain
Description: These are some of the best long distance birds in the country. The only 600 mile day birds in the state of North Carolina. All stock are children of the hen and cock that made it on the same day. These birds graded as extreme long distance flyers. Clay Adams flew his small team every week. No soft pigeons here.
