6th Merstham Guides

Welcome to our web page!

We are a Guide Unit of 28 girls, 4 adult leaders and 1 young leader. We are in Reigate Division & our county is Surrey East.

Our leaders are Kathy, Becky, Alex, Rachael and Abi.

We have 6 patrols; Forget me not, Marguerite, Orchid, Scarlet Pimpernel,  Snowdrop & Thistle.

In January 24 of us went on a County trip to Disneyland Paris. We stayed in the Newport Bay Club Hotel (a bit different to our usual accommodation i.e. tents or hostels). We had a fantastic time! We went on Space Mountain twice, one after the other. Please note that this is not a good idea although it seems to be at the time!!! We stopped in Paris on the way home and went up the Eiffel Tower.  View our photo album.

This year we took part in Thinking Day on the Air. Reigate ATS ran an amateur radio station in our meeting place.  We had many contacts including Jersey and Northern Ireland. We gained the Radio Communication badge.

We have only just set up this site and will be adding to it.
