More updates on that manure covered rumor of our stubborness: The more you pull and kick and throw a little human tantrum, the more we refuse to do it. That ain't stubborn! Would YOU want to do anything if someone was screaming at you to do it instead of asking politely?? Of course not! We handsome longears are very particular about manners and if'n ya don't ask, we'll just play dumb. We don't listen to demands. Sometimes we even have reasons for not doing as we're told. We may sense danger you can't, or be remembering something terrible that happened in similar circumstances. Horses are the same way(though a bit less trustworthy and intelligent). Not even you humans want to do something if it brings back terrifying memories! No, it's much better to be polite and let us think things through. If'n we trust ya enough, we'll go ahead anyway. Just remember: always have patience in bucket loads or ya ain't gonna get nowheres!
