The 1999 Dixie (the greatest Dixie ever!) was held at Camp Old Indian, Blue Ridge Council, Travelers Rest, South Carolina April 23-25, 1999
The Dixie was hosted by the Atta Kulla Kulla Lodge 185.

In preparation for this event AKK had several official and unofficial workdays. Below are the patches for the two official workdays.

Atta Kulla Kulla lodge 185 held the first of two workdays on February 27, 1999 to prepare for Dixie 99. The workday was attended by approximately 100 lodge members as well as a group from the Clemson chapter of APO. The first patch of a five patch set was available for sale to all participants. Many projects were completed during this workday with many still remaining.	Atta Kulla Kulla lodge 185 held the second of two workdays on April 3, 1999 to prepare for Dixie 99. The workday was attended by approximately 80-90 lodge members. The second patch of a five patch set was available for sale to all participants. Many projects were completed during this workday with a few still remaining.
