45 years ago I belonged to the Mohawk Wolf Pack Club in Baie d'Urfe. I'm so glad to see it still exists today.
 Darrell McEver, Leander, Texas

I'm a Cub leader with the 75th Midnapore Scouts in Calgary, Alberta. I just wanted to let you know that I think your Mohawk Wolf Cub Pack Web site is one of the most detailed and well-constructed sites that I have ever seen about Cubbing. I've passed on a link to your site to all the leaders in our group, and thought you might appreciate knowing that others are, indeed, making use of your site. I work as a technical writer in the software business, and I'm well aware of all the hard work that you've put into making this site. All I can say is, thank you!!  Best regards,
Don Harman, Riki Tiki Tavi, 75th Midnapore Scouts, Cubs 5, Calgary, Alberta

Thanks for the Turks Head Woggle instructions.  I have a meeting planned around one and I had not got a clue how to tye one.
Paul Hornbrook, 1st Stoke Albany & Wilbarston Scout Troop, Northants, England

I’m helping the Cub pack at the 70th London get re-organized after starting with all new leaders. I haven’t been searching the web for Cub information for over 5 years.  But as a Cub Leader for 20 years I know good stuff when I see it!  What a great site you’ve developed.  It has a wealth of information. Thank you on behalf of leaders everywhere. Yours in Scouting.
Sandi Burns, Scouts Canada Group Commissioner, 70th London Scouts, London, Ontario

I am the 1st Blackburn Scouting Group Commissioner. I have been referred to, your site from one of our Beaver Leaders. I am extremely glad I have, visited your site. I will learn to be a Cub leader this year to get my Woodbadge. Your group's site is a learning experience. We are in the process of getting our website out of the starting blocks. Please have a look at our site www.blackburnscouting.com. YIS.
Michel Binda, Group Commissioner, 1st Blackburn Scouting Group, Ottawa, Ontario

Great Site, and I use it a lot - Thanks. Keep up the good work.
Cheuk Lau, 3rd Unionville Cub Pack, Ontario

Wow! I’ve been using your site as a valuable resource for a couple of years now. I just wanted to say, "I sincerely thank you." You have an awesome site with valuable information. It is one of my favourite scouting resources. You guys rock!
Janet Wakutz - Akela, 5th Waterloo Cub Pack, Ontario

" Well Done ! ".  This is the best Scouting site I've ever seen done by a Group. There are a ton  of resources for both seasoned Leaders and new Leaders as well. I've been in  Scouting for 43 years and I have thoroughly enjoyed your site for a few years now and just wanted you to know that.
Best of Luck, Rick Daisley - Akela, 1st Hagersville Wolf Cub Pack, Haldimand Area Scouting / Program Support, Hagersville,  Ontario

I'd like to thank you as a cultural technician for having accurate information concerning the Haudenosaunee people (Iroquois). Niawenko:wa (Thank you very much in Kaniake:ha - Mohawk), Hope Rockwell

Just to let you know how much I enjoyed your website, Thanks,

This web site is amazing. I have not spent a great deal of time here, but looking forward to exploring more of the site. I am a new leader to Cubs and there are so many great resources on this site. Our pack is putting together our own site in the near future. Thank you for putting together this site.
Susanne - Akela for 1st Penetanguishene Cubs, Wendake Shores District, Shining Waters Region

Thank you very much for letting me share your web page - very interesting and so like English Cubbing.   I am a member of the Dorset Leadership Training Team and your story - " When Geese Fly " is excellent.   I will use it at the end of the " Working with other adults Course " as it fits all that we are trying to teach during the day.   Thanks again - I'll revisit your site.
Alan King - Cub Scout Leader, 37th Bournemouth Cub Scout Pack, England

Although I transferred a year ago to Terra Cotta in Pointe-Claire, I have not forgotten just how useful your website is!  Tonight we are doing Cycling badge. What a treasure store you have on the site. Badge requirements, road signs, obstacle course - all there and I am using them.
Simon Hartropp - Akela, Pointe-Claire, Quebec

A Big Hi from Scotland. I came across your site while looking on how to make a woggle. I thought it was great and I am saving it as a favourite.
Yours in Scouting, Helen Morton, 68th Fife (Inverkeithing) Scotland

Wow! really like your web page.  Baie D'Urfe is one of our favourite spots...  we enjoyed a championship volleyball tournament there a number of years ago and found the area interesting.  I have been Kubkar coordinator for Fredericton District (Scouts NB) for some 13 years now and still enjoying the activity.  My reason for visiting your page was to find racing sequences for various numbers of kars on three lane tracks.  I have all the sequences done by a former coordinator but thought it might be interesting to look around.  YIS
Alvin Ashfield, (former 10 year Akela), Fredericton, New Brunswick

Your Pack's webpage is very well done (as well as your program). Thanks
Steve McDonald, 1st Shedden Pack, Ontario

Great web site you have put together!
Scott Cameron - Kaa, 3rd Guelph Cub Pack, Guelph, Ontario

I appreciated finding your snow hut page on the net. I will be writing an article on winter camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area of Northeastern Minnesota for my site (http://www.bwca.cc) and was wondering if I could use some of your pictures from your page if I give you proper credit. Thanks!
Erik Anderson

I discovered your website tonight and am VERY impressed.  You share so many resources and such a plethora of knowledge.  I am a commissioner in the Dundurn Sub-Area in Hamilton, Ontario.  Our fall camp will focus on the Aboriginal Awareness badge and astronomy.  Your website has provided a wealth of information that we will share with our youth. As I prepare posters, etc. to hang in the main lodge for this camp, may I use your logo from the website with the appropriate acknowledgement?  It is a beautiful logo and embodies so much of what we hope to explore during our camp. Thanks for considering my request and I will be sure to share your website address with our leaders. Yours In Scouting,
Donna White, "Rainbow" 76th Hamilton Beaver Colony

I found this web site very good, well done! (badges requirements...).  Thanks
Scouter Andre Nault, 1st Cherry Grove LDS Cub Pack, Cold Lake, AB

Let me say you have one GREAT site and I use it a lot for games ideas and program building. Our group hosted the area run-offs in Kub Kars and I found your articles on the set up for a good day and for scoring keeping on the computer a terrific help. Thanks for all the great ideas and resource material!
Bruce Welton, Kings Area Service Team, 1st New Minas Cub Pack, Nova Scotia

I have just visited your site searching for the Promise, Law, Motto and Grand Howl in French. Congratulations on an absolutely fantastic site.  The graphics, links, information... well... everything was great and entertaining as well.
Irene Martin, Langley, British Columbia

I would just like to thank you for all the time & effort that you have put into your web site. It is just so packed full of information and ideas! My husband looks after the Cub Pack in Creemore, Ontario, and has been involved in Scouting for 25 years. After that length of time, he found he was getting stale in his ideas. We've relied on some of your ideas to freshen up our pack programs. Thanks to everyone who was involved in sharing all this valuable information. Well done!!!  I know there have been many groups within Nottawasaga District who have used this site for ideas, etc. It has also been linked to the Nottawasaga Website.
Lil Fulford, Canadian Forces Base, Borden, Ontario

Nia:weh! You have designed and completed a wonderful site for the Mohawk Wolf Cub Pack. I have been a leader in Cobourg - Rolling Hills District for 15 years and been on Service Team and District.  Several years ago I found out my Grandmother was Mohawk so I am taking the new Path the Great Spirit has opened to me.  Our boys have just started working on their Aboriginal Badge and I look forward to reading to them the stories brought down from our Elders. skenno goh wah duh O:nen - may you all walk the day of your chosen path in Love, Light and Happiness ... may you make your choices wisely!
Marilyn Killen - Raksha, 6th Trinity Cub Pack, Cobourg, Ontario

My group is the 520th located in West Scarborough with a good mixture of boys & girls, 12 in all. My husband and I are Cub leaders with the First Pickering group and have been surfing the net for quite some time looking for new and exiting resources, and are very impressed with your website!  Boy, is it ever cool!
Wendy and Mario, Pickering, Ontario

A cheer to you.  You have created a fantastic web site. I have a 9-1/2 yr. old son, now just finishing up his 2nd Cubbing yr. He is also just finishing his first year in French Immersion.  I found your site as I was surfing to find the Cub Promise, Law, Motto, Grand Howl in French for him. YIS,
Mrs. Terry Eldridge, 15th 'B'  Whitby Beavers

A great site for junior level students interested in Ojibwa and Mohawk legends.
Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board

Your Baie D'Urfe Mohawk Wolf Cub Pack site is outstanding. I hope you don't mind if I point people to it. I'm a Pack leader here in Guelph ON. I can't imagine the hours of work you've put into this great site.... keep up the great work and I look forward to visiting your site often. YIS,

Jon Summers - Bagheera, Roxboro United Cub Scout Pack
, Troupe de Louvetaux Roxboro United, Roxboro, Québec

What a fantastic web site you have! You have really succeeded in what you set out to do. The Pack is currently working towards their World Scouting Activity Badge. Its equivalent is your World Cubbing Badge. I have been searching the WWW for information from different countries about badges and uniforms for the Cubs to make posters. On hitting your site I see so much that is similar to my Pack i.e. numbers and Sixes. Yours in Scouting,
Sara Stuart Wood - Akela, 6th Falmouth Sea Scout Group, Cornwall, England

What a great site. I landed on it while looking for new star clipart for our Six Star Awards. I am very impressed and have forwarded the site on to the other leaders and Cubs in our pack. Good workWe be of one blood.
Sandi - Akela, 2nd London Cub Pack, London District, Ontario

Just a note to say this is one of the best pack web sites I have been on is a under statement!!!  Hats off to all those involved. The site is detailed and full of just about every bit of information a Cub Pack would ever need.  We thank you and your help for taking the time to making it available to others on the web. I know we will be putting it to great use and I have it marked as my number one site.  *****Stars.  Many thanks,
Bruce Welton - Akela, 1st New Minas Cub Pack, New Minas, Nova Scotia

From Baie d'Urfé, Quebec this Cub Pack provides information on how to build KubKars, star watching, and canoeing. Brush up on the Mohawk, animal, and Ojibwa Nanabush legends. Try out the animal tracking, peek at the camp photos, and get ideas for Pack meetings. Information is also provided on how to build a Scouting Website, meeting times, group history, and links. 3 Apples.
Josie Shadwell,
StudyWeb

Thanks for the tips.  I am preparing a web site for the Stony Point District since having read your very helpful tips on creating a web site. I had been wrestling with publishing a page on a Sympatico site and was very discouraged.  Thanks again. P.S. your site is very nice.
Stephen Forrest

Hello, I am a science teacher in Ontario and I came across your excellent Scout Site as I was looking for information on weather and astronomy.  I enjoyed browsing around very much.  Thank you for sharing all of this information!
Cindy Evans

Great site, folks. You have a goldmine of information to pass on to all Leaders.  With your permission, I would like to include your site on the Links section of our Odawa District site.
Ken Goodbody - ADC Pack - Odawa District

Hi. Thanks for your great site. I have been able to copy some of the Badge requirements to send home with Cubs who could not afford a Cub Book.  YIS,
Alan Vickers - Akela, 4th Perth Wolf Cub Pack, Perth, Ontario

COOL WEB SITE. One of our groups in Baie D'Urfe has put together a great group website, which we thought you'd like to see. Of particular interest is a section giving website links for many of the requirements of each of the Cub badges.
Scouts Canada, Quebec Provincial Council, Conseil provincial du Québec

I came onto the Net to find some history on Baie d'Urfe and the very first site I opened was yours. I wanted to let you know what a lovely, informative site you have! My family (Dad's side), has some history in Baie d'Urfe as well but ours only began about 70 years ago. My grandfather was the Chief of Police and my parents began their married life in the town 66 years ago. I was involved in Scouts Canada for 20 years (mid 70's to mid 90's), a great movement which has given me much in return.
Catherine Harrison, Baie D'Urfe, Quebec

Thanks guys and girls (if applicable) for an excellent site. Many of your resources have been put to good use in our pack. Keep up the good work.
Paul Ouellette - Bagheera, B Pack, Kingston, Ontario

Greetings from Scouting in London, Ontario... I am Akela of the 29th Pack and have just been blown away by your site. We are attempting to enhance our site (which was put together as a school project a couple of years ago by one of our Scouts) and I just want to import yours (NOT the Scouting thing to do, though...). I also really enjoyed it since I grew up in the Priests' Farm area of Pte. Claire (Bathurst Ave near Stewart Hall) and had many good friends in Baie d'Urfe in the late 1960's. I went to St Thomas High School and our church Folk Choir used Camp Tamaracouta a few times for our retreat weekends. Keep up the good work...remember, we do it for the kids!  YIS,
Peter Galoska - Akela, 29th Cub Pack, London, Ontario

I am the Scout Section Leader for the 1st Alexandra Scout Group. Our Cub Pack has for the last two years has made and raced cub cars. I would like the Scouts to make and race truck and trailers this coming year. At this stage I have only been able to find info on the cars. If you could get some info on the trucks like the specifications and a picture for us it would be a great help.
Martin O'Connor, Scout Section Leader, 1st Alexandra Scout Group, New Zealand

I just wanted to say thank you for such a great web site.  I has wonderful games, activities and ideas.  We have formed a new group of Scouts (Cubs and Beavers) in our small community and we needed some help with the programming. Your web site has already helped me plan several meeting with ideas for others. Just had to say thanks.
Lisa Boitson - Akela, 1st Winnipeg Beach Scouts Group, Manitoba

I just visited your Wolf Cub Website and my response was -- WOW! This is the best section website I have seen, bar none!! Not only is it cool, but it is useful to your members and their families to make Scouting a fun thing to do on the web together. Well done!
Richard F. Tracy - Executive Director, Quebec Provincial Council

Hello, I just been reviewing your web site and I can only say what a wonderful job you have done with it. My, you certainly have "done your best". I found it very informative and very useful, you must have spent a very long time putting it together. Once again congratulations on a job well done.
Jeff Smith - Provincial Commissioner, Scouts Canada, Quebec Provincial Council

Hello,  just a short note to say how much I enjoy your Pack's website. You are certainly providing valued information. I especially liked the Camp Tamaracouta Orienteering Game. I adapted it for my Pack recently. The game was a major part of our fall hike to the York Redoubt (outside of Halifax). My pack thoroughly enjoyed the game!  Thanks!  YIS,
George Mawko - Akela, 2nd Woodlawn B Pack, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Greetings fellow Scouter, My name is Christine Roe and I am the mother of a First Class Boy Scout that is trying to secure correct and current information concerning the Mohawk people. He is working on his Indian Lore Merit Badge, in his Boy Scout Troop 1237 here in Landover, Maryland. Thank you so much! Your website is absolutely fantastic and we very much enjoyed searching through it.
Christine Roe, Landover, Maryland

Hello ... you were our first Website of the Month and still rank as one of the best Cub sites out there on the net. Keep up the hard work. I still like the attractive yet simple design.
Review:
Quite simply this is a ‘Must See’ site. Well designed and laid out it is packed full of information and ideas for cubs and leaders alike. There is simply far too much content to do it justice by listing here, with jokes, pictures and sounds to keep the young ones amused as well as many good ideas and resources for the Scout leader. In particular there is some excellent information on what the group gets up too along with some brilliant photographs. It certainly is eye opening to see what our cousins in Canada get up too, going hiking into bear country sure beats walking down to the local campsite! I suggest that you have a good long look at this site. I know I did.
Darren Dowling, Scouting Resources.org.uk

I stumbled across your website and was very impressed. I especially liked the sound effects. Good work...
Peter Waycik, Northwestern Ontario District

Hello from Cub Scout Pack #37 in Essington, Pennsylvania, USA.  We are visiting your site through The NetCommish.  WOW...WOW...WOW...WHAT A FABULOUS SITE!  Keep up the GREAT work.  We truly enjoyed our visit, it's always fun to see what Scouts around the world are up to.  We are going to put a link from our site to yours.

Wow!!! I just wanted to say I've been browsing your web pages for the last few days as a resource for crafts and logo's and other neat stuff to share with a group I invited over from the UK a few years back. They have been having a great time here in Canada and are just absorbing the culture.  I was most impressed with your site and felt compelled to let you know.  Well done, keep it up. Regards in Scouting,
Ed Connolly

Thank you so much for having stories from my ancestors.  I have been trying to get information for my eight-year-old son on his heritage.  You have made this search enjoyable.
Anne

I found your web site last night with great excitement. We are having our annual summer camp in two weeks time and our theme is 'Mohawk'. We plan to raise the Canadian flag over Easby and for two days declare it a part of the province of Quebec. The Mohawk legends and the symbols are really interesting and I have been thinking all day how best to use them and the other materials you have posted. We plan to decorate a 3 meter telegraph pole as a totem pole, tomahawk axes with sponge, dream catchers and head bands!!  We are based in the north of England, 1st Great Ayton Cub Scouts 'Monument Pack'. The village is the birthplace of Captain James Cook....so we have a connection with Quebec...as Cook 'cut his teeth' as a navigator with General Wolf.
Tim Weschenfelder - Akela, 1st Great Ayton Cub Scouts Monument Pack, England

Thank you for your website.  Your animal tracking and star watcher topics just helped two YMCA Indian Guider members in Madison, Alabama
James Fowler, Madison, Alabama

Wow! I love the site!! Its extremely well done and very well organized. I am the webmaster of the Dorval District site, and the general overseer of all sites Dorval.  I'd love it if you could post the general Dorval District page. I even decided to forego the trouble of posting the entire Cub program online like I wanted to because yours is so good. I have linked my site to yours to two spots. Keep up the great work!!  Yours in Scouting,
Marek Carroll, Dorval District, Quebec

My congratulations on a brilliant site. I had a look around and you have some incredible resources. Hope you don't mind my stopping back frequently for ideas. Thank you for putting in the time.
Douglas Lemck

This site is amazing!!! If it's OK, I'd like to up a link to this site on the 117th Bayshore Scout Group vicinity. Your site is very informative and interesting!!!
Debbie Cress Secretary, 117th Bayshore Scouting Group

Hello, may I congratulate you on an excellent website. You have a great deal of information that is worthwhile to all in the scouting movement. Yours in Scouting,
Darren Dowling, 9th Dagenham, Greater London North East, England

Hi. I just had to compliment you on a great site. I have just spent the better part of an hour exploring it and have added it to our favorites so that I can show my family later. Our family is involved with the 1st Willowpoint Beavers and Cubs which is located just outside of Nelson, BC as part of the Kutenai District. I look forward to returning to your site.
Ellen Kelly, 1st Willowpoint Beavers and Cubs, Nelson, BC

Neat Website. Really enjoyed your Web Site.  If OK I'll borrow some and pass it on to our Cub Leader. You left one out........You know you've just become a Group Committee Chair when your best friend says "I don't know what to do, you've GOT to help me!!!! Take care and all the best.
Bill
McDonald, 123rd Scout Group Toronto, Ontario

All Leaders and Cubs were really impressed with the walking stick idea!!! The Cubs all went out and found a ''natural'' walking stick while hiking at camp. Many of them spent hours removing the bark with penknives. They are supposed to do the rest at home. Next year we should see some interesting pieces!!  YIS,
 Véronique

Greetings, I would like to thank you for such a great web site!!! This is my first year as a cub leader. My son Tyler just swam up from Beaver's last week, but I have been Baloo from the beginning of this year. We have been planning to get involved in our areas kubkar rally on the 12th of February. Other members of my team have tried, unsuccessfully, to find information on how to build a track. I discovered your site with ease. Thank you for the plans on the track. Your site is so well organized I plan to use it for reference to get our relatively new group up to speed.  Thanks again,
Alan Reid- Baloo,
184th Millhurst Edmonton, Alberta

Vancouver Coast Region Website: One of the best sites around on the Canadian Wolf Cub program.  Includes info on outdoors, Cub skills & interests, games, nature, and Pack administration.

I have found your cub pack site very useful. thank-you. Your site is very well done!
Craig Lussier, 3rd highland Creek Scout Troop

Hi Mohawk Wolf Cubs, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your website. The audio adds a great affect. Especially liked the Nanabush Page. I am a cub scout den leader. This month we will be exploring Native Americans and I think I will use one or two of your stories. The "Why Maple Trees Give Sap" will tie in nicely with our trip next month to see how maple syrup is made. We are also going to start a pen pal program. If you have six 8-year old boys who would like to become pen pals, please let me know. This would be a fun way for the boys to learn about our Canadian neighbors! Best wishes in your scouting endeavors.
Judy Lochner

What an excellent site. This is one of the best scouting sites I have seen in a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will be back again.
Fiona Roberts - Kaa, Howrah Scout Group, Tasmania, Australia.  Good Scouting,

Mohawk Cub Pack; I would like to say that your website is an excellent source of information for both experienced and novice Scouting leaders as well as Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, etc. themselves. I am a leader with the 1st Torbay Cub Pack in Torbay, Newfoundland. I found your website while "surfing" and found it enjoyable and easy to navigate around it. I am very interested in establishing our own pack website and will be influenced by the layout and information I gathered at your website. Again, thank-you for the information and keep up the good work in helping other leaders with ideas and suggestions.
Cordell Randell - Akela - 1st Torbay Cub Pack

Excellent site! You've obviously put a great deal of time into the site. Congratulations. I've forwarded the URL to all the section leaders here in Chelsea.
Doug Banks, Chelsea

Hi, Regarding our letter exchange. It was a bit over-ambitious for some of our boys, but we had a go anyway, and the results are in the attached Word97 file. We'd be very happy to receive any replies - I sense that one or two of the boys might be interested/capable of keeping up a correspondence. Regards,
Will Fookes, Hathi, Corfe Mullen Mohawk Wolf Cub Pack, England

Hi there...just a quick hello from your brothers at the 1st Edmonton BP Scout Group. I was just out surfing and I came across your website...simply fabulous! You humble me... Perhaps one day share a campfire with you! Take care. Your Brother in Scouting,
Patrick Conlin - Scoutmaster, 1st Edmonton BP Scouts, Alberta

Hello from a former member of the Mohawk Cub Pack in Baie d'Urfe. I was a cub in the very early sixties at St. Giles. The Akela was Mrs. Hawkes who lived on Westchester and her husband was the Scoutmaster at the time. The Scouts met at the Coop and then moved to Dorset School. Scouting stays with you forever, I am now a Scout leader in Orangeville, Ontario.  Great web site! Cheers,
Steve Cavell, Orangeville, Ontario

Hi, Greetings and Happy New Year from the 8th Dartford Scout Group (UK). Myself and two of my Cubs were impressed and entertained by your site. Please say hello to your Cubs for us!
8th Dartford Scout Group - Panther Pack, England

Hi Kaa, Have spent an hour (maybe more!) roaming around your site. It's quite wonderful. I grew up in Beaconsfield and still miss living in La Belle Province. Used to "cub" in Southern District but have been in Ontario since '77. Wandering through your Baie D'Urfe pictorial made me quite homesick as we have spent many happy hours at friends on Westchester. Thanks for the great laughs .. especially the 25 things that happen at KubKars. Was on the Brant District Kub Kar Committee for 9 years!
Carol Purser - Bagheera, 1st South Brant Cub Pack, Ontario

Hello fellow Scouters! My name is John Edwards and I am the Akela for the 1st West Royalty Wolf Cub Pack here in Charlottetown in Prince Edward Island. I have been doing a little surfing and I find that your site is an excellent site to visit. I am going to let my Provincial Counsel know about it and I am sure that they will set up a link to your site. Keep up the good work! Yours in Scouting,
