Canada Day 1998

1 July 1998, in the Hamilton Area

Well here we are again to tell another tale of another one of our 81st Thunderbird Rover events. Welcome to Canada Day 1998 with our Crew.
Prior to the date our crew had planned to go swimming in Monica's wonderful pool but earlier that day we received the news that the pool had been chlorine shocked after the previous night's storm. None of us really wanted to expose ourselves to dangerous chlorine levels so we opted out of swimming at Monica's. At this point in the day we had nothing to do until the evening when we were going to Laura's for a BBQ. After a few phone calls we were invited to crash Mike Hall's family and friends BBQ. When we arrived the Wildman went swimming and Heather, Qweek, and Lumberman talked with Mike's Dad.
After swimming Wildman was promptly mocked by Mr. Hall on a number of occasions, (this later turned out to be the theme of the evening). After some of us sampled the Hall BBQ food we were off to our own down at Laura's house, bringing Mike along with us.
Well we arrived at Laura's and got some stuff set up and ready to go for dinner. During dinner the mocking of the Wildman continued but lots of fun was had by all. A photo of the Wildman licking Monica's face was taken but may not survive after Lumberman opened the back of the camera. We played with these little snake thingys that you lit on fire and they did some pretty weird things.
After dinner we went for a walk around Harbour Front Park and Miller decided to make himself balloon breasts. A few of the surrounding women made comments about wishing they had a set like his. Near the end of the walk Miller was brutally attacked by a number of members of the Crew who will go unnamed at this point in time. After the walk when it was getting dark we played with sparklers and told people that the cops were coming to ticket their cars if they parked on the road. (This was to keep people from parking us in, besides cars were already parked 5 or 6 deep). After about 20 minutes of fireworks we hung out together for a bit longer until we decided to call it quits at about 11 PM.

Well until our next Crew event I wish you well.
