Welcome to My Hound Hall of Fame Page. These hounds had to earn their way here they may not have been World Champions they all had what it takes to be here.
Chigger : Chigger was a year and a half when he was hit in the ditch by a careless driver. This guy hit this dog
intentionally as I was in the field next to him and seen the
driver ver off the road to hit him. Chigger was coming on strong
as a coon hound and needed one win to be a U.K.C
bench champion. I had drive to Glascow,Kentucky to pick him and two of his half brothers up.Which was 21 hour drive for me one way from where I live in Canada. I sure miss this hound as he was a looker and a solid hound who was cut down before he reached his prime.
Old Lucky was one of my all time favorite Foxhounds and hounds period. She always gave her tops and would take a fox or coyote track as she came to them. She died last winter at 15 years old she lived a solid life and will be always with me on the winter mornings,or on the cool summer nights giving old red or old mr. coyote fits.
Old Queenie Bell was as fine a squirrel dog who ever ran in the hills of Tennessee. She was owned by my best friend Mr.Pelham.
Queenie could hold her own against any of these so
called champions. She was never entered in the competetion circuit but you can bet your bottom dollar to eat Mr.Pelham's food she had to be a top dog.
Scott:I seen him go and he was a good one. He had my lead on his collar several times. Around eight thirty we put him in his final resting spot. I always knew he would go out of this world hunting, . Keep looking up buddy.
Poem I have enclosed was sent to Steve by a friend. Steve your lucky to have such a fine friend and my best to you in this time of sorrow.
Farewell my humans, Yet not farewell, Where I go you too shall dwell. I am gone before your face, A moment's time, a little space, When you come where I have stepped, You will wonder why you wept. If you would like your favorite hound or cur on
my page send me a short desciption and photo and I will be glad
to show it on my Hall of Fame Page.
Gustafsons Apache TNT better known as
"Old Dog"
She was only with me until she was eight years old when stomach cancer got
the better of her.
She was a great hound who taught me the meaning of the word coonhound!
Old Dog never quit a track as long as it was physically able to be run and i
find myself comparing all of my hounds to her.
She was an outstanding coon hound who won the Northern Wyoming total points
hunts for 1996 but more importantly she was my family's pet and my friend.
Rest in peace Old Dog.(written by TNT Kennels)
