Breckenridge Ski & Racquet Club     The Ski & Racquet club is located on Main Street just south of the Bell Tower Mall.  There are 80 units of which 10 are owner residents.  This means peace and quiet during the off season and a mad house during the middle of summer and ski season.  This unit is about 100 ft. from the famous Blue River.  The Blue River has some of the best trout fishing in Colorado and is also home of the largest gold nugget found in Colorado.  How about a whopping 13 lbs.  Can you say "Day Off".     The Bell Tower Mall is also at the base of the Beaver Run ski lift, and a central location for free transportation to any ski lift in the county.  A large amount of local activities happen at the Bell Tower Mall.  A huge pond, called Maggie Pond, is fed by the Blue River and has a floating stage.  Maggie Pond is surrounded by natural terrain to provide a sort of amphitheater setting, and there are numerous concerts during the summer.  Maggie Pond is the starting point for the annual rubber ducky race to benefit someone other than me.  I bought a duck anyway.  During the winter, the pond freezes and serves as a local ice skating arena.
