When was the first time you dreamt of flying?...
When did you first wonder what would happen if you jumped?...
When did you first lay on your back in the sun and watch the birds, so high, and want to be there?...
To escape the gravity well, if only for a little while. What happens to your soul when you are no longer bound to earth?
I flew first in my dreams...I would claw my way through the ceilings and attics of my captivity to reach the sky...then launch spread armed into the comforting sky, far from my agressors....
Then Flying Art, swooping and diving faster than breath, rolls and climbs...life living...but only in dream...
Soaring deep under water, trying my wings in the thicker medium....rolls and dives...but limited by breath and thickness....
Then John Livingstone Seagull...yes...I wept for frustration....
Now a new avenue...freefall...it will take a while to get there...but Flying is the Thing...The thoughts of Pat & John Works inspire and guide....learning...gathering...soon now...very soon....
Soon my friends, soon your intrepid companion will step off the plane, with my beloved husband, an affirmation of life and yes we know it will be the first of many....We KNOW...
We are starting with a static line square, and then we'll see what happens next...can't afford AFF just now, so we will have to do it the hard way....
