For my picks this time, I have picked one CD that I just bought and really enjoy. The other I picked as a tribute to the late John Denver.

Martina McBride - Evolution

Martina's new CD that was just released in the past month is Excellent!!! I was already a Martina McBride fan after the release of Wild Angels, and this CD is just as good if not better. The songs range from the up-beat Happy Girl to the romantic Valentine. Another bonus was the duet Still Holding On with Clint Black. It was written with an all star set of composers (Clint Black / Matraca Berg / Marty Stuart) that you would expect only the best song!

John Denver - The Wildlife Concert

This past week, music lost a great artist: John Denver. I have been listening to his music ever since I was a little kid, and will never forget it.  He influenced many people and changed many lives. It is my hope that he will never be forgotten.
