Hello, I'm Mellanie

I am thirteen years old and I am in the eighth grade.
I like to draw and design clothes.

I also like Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon.
These are my 4 favorite Pokemon cards.
I love to draw Dragon Ball Z characters
and write new stories about them.

I am in the Girl Scouts. I like to rappel and go camping and skiing.
I also love to swim.

I took ice skating lessons, and was really good at it.
I have 2 cats named Chanel and Baby.

My best friend is Michelle.
Here is a picture of us together.

I wrote this poem about our friendship:

11 1/2 Years Of Friendship

To: Michelle
"Friends forever", you promised.
"Together til the end".
We did everything with each other,
You're still my best friend.

When I was sad, you were by my side.
When I was scared, you felt my fear.
You were my best support.
If I needed you, you were there.

You are my greatest friend,
You always seem to know what to say.
You make everything seem better,
As long as we have each other,
Everything will be okay.

Suddenly we are miles apart,
Two different people, with few things the same.
It is as if we hadn't been friends,
Although we know deep in our hearts
Neither one of us is to blame.

You have made so many new friends
And luckily, so have I
As we grow older, things will change
But they don't have to end sadly.
Even though it is different now,
You will always be my friend.

Like we said when we were young,
"We will live together in a mansion".
We should do so in our future,
As we did in our past...
For 11 1/2 years of memories we share.
