Heritage of SIR JOHN ROSS

I have found a few SIR JOHN ROSS's in the search for my Sir John Ross. There are links below to sites about them. My Sir John ROSS was from Aberdeen, Scotland. His daughter Margaret ROSS married William Morrison of Thurso. Their daughter Catherine Morrison of Thurso, Caithness, Scotland, married William MacKay, who was born in Durness, Sutherlandshire, Scotland and they later emigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada. Any leads would be appreciated.
