(Here is something that I found off a post messages chat room, its by jms and it really has a lot of meaning.)

I would just like to say that I am very gratefull for the loyalty of all of Babylon 5's fans for the past seasons. Together with everyone involved in the show we set out to create a product that would serve as a landmark and a watermark for Science Fiction television and television as a whole. Despite our imminent cancellation I am proud to say that I have succeeded. As you doubtlessly know by now due to events beyond the control of myself or Warner Bros. we will not be able to continue Babylon 5. As much as some of you may regret hearing this, I regret having to say it even more. Nevertheless this does not mean that we are giving up. There were other shows such as Star Trek which survived cancellation to return as spinoffs. Hopefully Babylon 5 will be able to do the same. As for myself, I am considering taking on a number of positions. I have 3 pilots in various stages of construction on my desk(s) and a number of various other projects (some that you know about and some that you don't) at this time. Until many of those become more financialy rewarding than they are the moment, I am considering temporary positions on a number of shows. I hope you will give those shows the same loyalty you gave Babylon 5 and I hope that I can make those shows worthy of that loyalty. Overall it's been a great ride Sincerely Yours J.M.S.
