BSA TROOP #212 INTRODUCTION INFORMATION
Troop
meetings are Monday evenings, at 7PM, in Fellowship Hall at the Church, eXcept where noted on the Troop 212
Events Calendar, (Blue sheet calendar). Usually these meetings end at about 8:30 PM, but sometimes may
be eXtended a bit due to
the amount of business that needs to be covered.
Each Scout pays .25 cents dues per meeting and is collected by
the Patrol Scribe during the meetings.
Our Scoutmaster is John Douglas. He has over 30 years
Scouting eXperience, and is always available
to assist a Scout or Scouting parent. He can be reached through his email address below.
Our Parents Committee Meetings are held Monthly, the first
Monday of each month, as long as there is a scheduled Boys meeting.
Our local BSA Council office H.Q. is at 401 East 37th Street,
Long Beach, between Atlantic Avenue and Long Beach Blvd. The phone number is 562-427-0911.
All Scouts may purchase their uniform and Scout Handbook at this Council office.
If this eXciting
program is something you want your son to become part of, please email the Troop for an
Application Form. When this form is completed, you return it to either the Scoutmaster, or
the Troop Advancement Chairman, with an application check in the amount of $20.00 made out
to "BSA Troop 212". This check covers the first years registration fees and one
year of Boys Life Magazine.
