Lee Sona Rafikin

In the beginning, there was a man called Khan. He was a genetically created "Super"-man, and with him all of his followers. He, among others, initiated the Eugenic wars and, facing defeat, fled from earth in the "Botany Bay". Many years later, a Starfleet ship, under the command of Captain James Tiberius Kirk, found the "Botany Bay" and woke the sleeping crew. Khan unsuccessfully tried to take over the ship and was exiled on a planet, Ceti Alpha V. And with him his followers.

In the following years, the group of Eugenics prospered and children were born, including Lee, daughter of Lynn and Liam Sona. However, five years later, Ceti Alphas sun collapsed and Ceti Alpha VI was destroyed. With it, Ceti Alpha V's course was altered into that of Ceti Alpha VI, turning the paradise into a desert. Everything died but a handful of Eugenics and deadly insects. Little Lee lost her father. Then, some day, two men beamed on the planet's surface and were kidnapped instantly. Forced to obey every of Khan's orders, they plotted a trap for the crew of their ship. Most of Khan's followers boarded the ship to fulfill their leader's vendetta towards Kirk. Only four refused to join him, among them Lynn and Lee Sona. After the mortal defeat in avenging Kirk, Starfleet came to research on the planet, finding only Lee, at her mother's grave.

The only survivor was beamed aboard and became highly fascinated at the technology and knowledge, at how many people there are in the universe and at how easy life seems to people here. Still, she keeps a strong hate towards Kirk, like her parents and her former leader. Nevertheless, lacking any other possibilities, she signed up for Starfleet, hoping to learn and eran a living. Her strangeness and her past made it hard for her to find any attachment to the group and even if no one would admit it, she was an outsider because of her heritage. Thus, the Academy was no pleasure for her to keep. Finally, she was assigned to the USS Antares under the command of Commodore Will T. Riker. Feeling unhappy there after splitting up with her first love, she transferred to the USS Lancer, commanded by Jack Carter.

For some reason, she still did not feel at home where she was. Even though this was one of the few ships where her heritage had not been made a subject, she was not happy. One day, at Starbase 23, she met an animaloid, a lion. This man spoke softly and convincing, telling her she was not the only one of her kind, being manufactured by humans. Growing interested and trustful, she became his subject, leaving Starfleet. As the personal guard to the King himself, and as his perseonal trainer, she spent numerous hours talking and working out.

Love grew in her heart for the lion at her side, even if it was a forbidden love. She kept it secret for many weeks until, some day, he came to her and spoke about problems with his future wife. Knowing it was not the right time for him, but the right time for her, she opened her heart to the lion she loved, surprising him mostly. After this single outburst of emotion, she remained quiet, helping him through the time of waiting until his fiancee would communicate. However, once she did, it did not help Simbaka much.

After such a long time of waiting, Lee spoke open again, asking her love to marry her. Now. At an instant. Only one member of the Empire was in the room as they were wed: Silver Fox, a singer. At that day, things changed for all of them. The Empire had a queen. The king had a wife. And Lee had a home.
