[NOTE: Keep in mind that Junta is still the mega-playboy] Karin still looks upon Junta and Kotomi who are, at the time, still kissing. Karin realizes that her dream is gone... She'll never get that sweet, sweet home of hers that she wanted so desperately. However Junta is not stopping at just kissing Kotomi, he is going a lot further. However he suddenly stops when he gazes into Kotomi's eyes. He realizes that her problem is cured. The only trick is for her to act like herself. Junta now has completely stopped the thing he was doing and decided to leave Kotomi (before going, however, he still states that he has only been with her to cure her problem). [NOTE: Junta is no longer the mega-playboy]On his way home Junta runs into Ami standing by her bike. Ami is of course angry and says that she can't be close to him, because Junta is Kotomi's boyfriend. Junta tries to say that Ami has misunderstood, but Ami just rides away, leaving Junta behind. The next day is the big day that Kotomi had anticipated. It was the day of the gymnastics tournament, and Kotomi, nervous at first, did succeed and got third place (very good!).

Later that day Kotomi asks to see Junta at the park. Junta, at the park waiting for Kotomi, runs into Ami. Ami reminds Junta that they can not be seen together, and then she starts to leave. However Kotomi stops her and states that she asked both of them to the park. She (Kotomi) says that she is hurt because Junta was only with her because of her problem. She really did have feelings for Junta. At this time, she walks up to Junta and slaps him in the face. Kotomi briefly explains that Ami that she shouldn't hold back her feelings, it's just not right. And then, like that, Kotomi walks away, leaving Ami and Junta behind. After the weird experience, Junta and Ami are walking together when Ami turns to Junta and comes very close to revealing her true feelings. However it was not meant to be. The night soon settles over the city, but something important is happening at Karin's time machine. She is receiving a package through time. It takes a while but when the package finally appears you see that it is the DCM bullet from the future.
