in mind I do actually read them, and I like the story to
actually have a plot

This isn't a hard and fast rule, but
really for your own benifit, the story should LOOK good. Because I'm
reading them, and I'm a very 'visual' person, chances are if it doesn't look
good (clashing colors, loud colors, Times New Roman) I might not have the
energy to read it.
