"Nat!" Rebecca says giving her friend the evil eye "Can you excuse us for a moment please, Brian?"
"Sure." Brian says as Rebecca and Nat walk a few feet from them.
"Nat, What are you doing?"
"I dunno. I just wanted to help."
"Well, I think that I can handle this for myself."
"So..."
"So...What?!?"
"So, Are you going to go out with him or not?"
"That's for me to know and for you to find out a little later." Rebecca says as she walks away form Natasha toward Brian "Brian, I'd love to go out with you tonight."
"Really?!?"
"Yeah."
"Great. Then I'll pick you up at 6:30 on the dot." Brian says with his blue eyes sparkling with joy.
"6:30 on the dot." Rebecca repeats with a nod of her head and suddenly feeling a bit shy and starting to blush "I guess I should go get ready, then, huh?"
"It's up to you because I think that you look good the way you are right now."
"No, I don't. I look so scrubby right now."
"Yes, you do to me. You look natural and that's one of the things I like about you."
"Well, I think I should get ready then. I'll see at 6:30 tonight."
"Yup."
"Okay." Rebecca says as she turns around and heads toward her apartment with Brian still looking at her walk away until she was out of his sight.
"Brian!" Nick yells to his best friend who seemed to be in a daze "Yo, Brian, we have to finish the game, man."
"Huh?" Brian says as he comes out of his trance "Oh, Okay."
~Up in Rebecca's Apartment~
"Beccie, what are you going to wear tonight, huh??" Nat questioned her best friend sitting on Rebecca's bed watching Rebecca find something to wear.
"Shut up, Nat! You're not helping you're making more nervous." Rebecca says as she pulls out her yellow backless shirt "What do you think?"
"Don't wear a skirt. I think you should wear pants cuz when you wear skirts it makes you look kinda short so I think with pants it'll make you look like you have long legs."
"Okay. Which pants though."
"These." Nat says pulling out Rebecca's black flared pants
"Okay thanks, Nat. What would I do with out you?"
"You can't."
"I'll be right back." Rebecca says as she runs to the bathroom to change.
When she comes back "Wow, Bec, you look great."
"I dunno. I think I should wear a different shirt." Rebecca says going to her closet and running back into the bathroom "Okay how bout this?"
"Looks better." Nat says to Rebecca who was wearing a pale blue, v-neck, quarter length sleeve shirt that brought out her blue eyes.
"Okay I'm almost done. Nat, have you seen my black shoes any where?"
"No."
"Dang." Rebecca says looking under her bed "It's 6:27. Oh well I'll wear my blue Skechers then."
"Are you sure." Natasha says
"Yeah." Rebecca says as she finishes tying her shoe and Brian knocks on the door. "Bye, Nat. Thanks for everything."
"No prob." Natasha says as Rebecca opens the door.
"Hi. Are you ready?"
"Yup, just need to grab my bag and my jacket."
"Okay."
"Alright. Shall we?" Rebecca says a she comes back with her things
"After you." Brian says stepping aside to let Rebecca walk by as she closes the door
They went out to a movie and then to dinner. At dinner they went to a simple little place and ate.
"Hey, I didn't know that tonight's karaoke night here." Rebecca says smiling as they waited for their food to come "Come on, Brian, Do you want to sing with me?"
"I don't think it's a good idea cuz you know."
"Oh yeah. Sorry. I'll sing to you then, okay."
"Okay." Brian says as he watches Rebecca get up and go to the microphone.
Rebecca went up on stage and started to sing Christina Aguilera "I Turn to You" and Brian just sat there amazed at how Rebecca sounded and how she sang with so much feeling. He was amazed at how she sounded a lot like Christina yet she had a little bit more in her that Christina didn't. She sounded actually a bit better than Christina. As he watched Rebecca sing a song popped into his head and he pulled out his note pad from his jacket and started writing down lyrics. Maybe Rebecca will sing this with me and the guys on our next album. Brian thought to himself as he started to write furiously nonstop.
"Brian, what are you doing?" Rebecca says as she returned to their table.
"I just got this idea for a song while you were singing." Brian says as their food arrive. The night was going very good and they both started to be more interested in each other even more. The night ended too fast for the both of them, they both thought as Brian walked Rebecca to the door.
"I had a great time." Rebecca says as they reach the door.
"Me, too." Brian says looking into Rebecca's eyes "Can we do it again sometime?"
"Sure."
"How bout next Thursday?"
"Okay."
"See you next Thursday then." Brian says as they he moved closer to Rebecca and Rebecca moving closer to Brian and closed her eyes as they went to kiss each other. When they parted they hesitantly went their separate ways. Rebecca went into her apartment and was still in shock that she went out with a famous person and walked to her room in a kind of daze and started to change into her PJs. When she had finished changing she decided to call Natasha, but Natasha called her instead. They talked for hours about the Date like they were teenage girls talking about who they had a crush on.
