PROLOG
A tale of eleven worlds,
eleven different people, all spinning on the same wheel, that of
fate. They live oblivious to the world around them until
their worlds careen into each other. A dramatic tale of how
you can have so much to learn – yet so much to loose.
The year is 2003, the
Backstreet Boys, despite every growing rumors of breaking up are
still together. Kevin & Kristen gave birth to a healthy
little boy almost 2 years ago, since then Kristen has been
itching to go back to work, though Kevin is not to enthused with
the idea. Brian & Leigh Anne, on the surface seem
blessed in marital bliss, but underneath lies a long list of
problems, she’s forever accusing him of been
‘unfaithful’ he’s forever trying to pry a drink
out of her hands, yet despite it all Brian refuses to leave her,
even if his best friend is adamant he’ll end up getting
hurt. Nick has been in and out of relationships for what
seems like an eternity, he still, though regrettably has feelings
for a girl he had a fling with 2 years ago, they’d met at
some club, gone out a couple of times, then he got scared and
broke it off, since then he hasn’t had the guts to even call
her, though her number still lives in his wallet. AJ has
buried himself in his work after getting his heart broken by a
long time girlfriend, he refuses to ever love again and instead
looks after his “needs” by taking advantage of every
offer for non-committal relationship that he can get his hands
on. Howie is on the verge of popping the question to his
Girlfriend, Eve, who he met one year ago, Kevin doesn’t like
her and has told Howie that, many a time, though he refuses to
listen. Record sales have been, as always soaring, ignoring
critics who say the boy band craze would soon die out.
Tara, a 19 year old laid
back girl, is bored and tired of the life she leads. Stuck
in a go-nowhere job, and dying to break free from the parental
chains she hurriedly accepts a nanny job offered to her, half way
around the world, in Orlando, Florida. In a matter of weeks
she leaves everything she ever knew and her naïve life behind,
unsure of what lies ahead.
Alicia, has been in and out of love more times then she cares to remember. Her hearts been broken so many times to the point shes unsure if it’s even possible for her to love again. She’s been from place to place, trying to fit into a world where she sure she doesn’t belong.
Jasmine, A struggling
singer in the bar scenes, Jasmine is determined to find her big
break. Strong willed and head strong, Jasmine will try and
do anything to get where she needs to be.
Eve, Howie’s girl friend for a year now, she’s grown to love him. From a neighborhood she’s ashamed of and a past she’s forever hiding, she’d determined to move onto better things whatever the costs.
