CHAPTER 4 – I WANNA BE WITH YOU – IF ONLY FOR THE NIGHT

Without rhyme or reason Arora ran up the path after punching the code to the gate, one that she remembered even now. She stopped before the stairs that lead up to the house. Tears streaming down her face, but undistinguished from the rain flooding down around her. The gale ripped through her chillingly as she stood staring up at the door. She tackled each step, stair by stair, slowly getting closer and closer. She stopped directly in front of the door, extended her hand and knocked.

Brian looked up from his notepad, as he struggled to find the words his heart was dying to say. He was sure he’d heard the sound of knocking, then again the trees wiping around in the violent wind could be playing tricks on him. Ignoring this likely thought he stood up and wandered over to the door.
He unlocked the door, and pulled it open. Arora stood before him, her wet mattered hair cascading across her shoulders and face. Her face staring down at the ground, looking up only when he opened the door. Her clothes were wet through, her body shock in the wind – her face seemingly emotionless.
“Arora what are you doing out –“ Brian started
“Sssh, please don’t speak, don’t try to understand what can never be explained” Arora interrupted
She leaned in, her wet lips begging for his. In an instant her lips were on his, the chill of the rain vanishing from their bed as his lips warmed hers. No words were spoken – none were needed – as he pulled her inside closing the door haphazardly behind her.

Her hands ached for him, her body yearning for his touch – one she could never and would never forget. They stumbled blindly into the lounge, where the fire burned in its metal dungeon. Her hands slid up the inside of his top, her nails just barely scraping his skin – with ease she removed both jumper and t-shirt in one go. He followed her lead guiding her soaking wet t-shirt over her head, hurriedly banishing hit to the other side of the room.

He lay her down gently onto the sheepskin mat that lay before the fire. He looked down at her, her hair dangling over her shoulder, her skin moist with rain, her chest pounding.

“Why Rose? Why did you come here?” he whispered pushing some hair softly behind her ear
“I don’t know, I don’t have an answer to that” she replied her green eyes shining in the light of the fire
“But I'm here, and you’re here, isn’t that enough?” she added softly
He smiled gracefully taking her lips into his. His hand roamed the side of her body, igniting a flame that had lay dormant for a year. His kiss made a path down her body destroying any reminder of the rain as they went. His tongue swiveled around her stomach as his hands undid button by button on her jeans. With the aid of his hands they slipped down her legs, his tongue tracing the path. His body pushed against hers as he came back face to face with her. Her fingers wrapped their way around his hair, tracing his hairline softly then down his cheek. Even through his own pants she could feel his body growing. She slithered from underneath him, and positioned herself on her knees, following suit he knelt beside her. Her lips slammed up against his as a web of passion began forming around the two. Her hands slide down his naked chest, her thumbs for a split second focusing on his nipples before following her other fingers down to his waistband. As he had done to her, she slowly undid his fly, as his head dropped onto her chest. His hands slipped underneath the thin material of her bra coupling her breasts into his hands. She pushed his pants as far as they would go, then delved her hand under his boxers exploring the regions of his body still lightly clothed. His mouth gaped with pleasure as she took him into her hands, he clenched at her nipple resulting in her own pleasure.
Unable to hold himself back any longer he hurriedly lay her back down, his legs kicking off his pants, his body yearning for hers. He pushed down his boxers, her hands still skimming around his body, enticing him even more. His teeth clasped onto the band of her panties and in an instant he had pulled them down her leg. His hands ran around her naked body as she bit her lip in assured expectation. He pushed up against her, begging for her silent approval to carry on, she wriggled underneath him, pushing her hips against him. Overcome with the heat of the moment, reason and thought was banished form both minds an he entered her with re-found passion. She gasped a little, his thrust deeper than she had remembered but still as pleasurable. His head dropped to her shoulder as her hands cradled him gently. The night slipped by as they discovered what had been pushed to the back of their minds, the things time had tried to burry, but had only suppressed – because there are just something’s to real, to passionate for time to ever, ever erase.

~ THE NEXT MORNING ~

Bianca woke up to the bright sun shining in through the window.
“I so don’t get this screwy weather, one minute its bucketing down, the next minute it’s bloody beach weather” she laughed to herself.
She looked over to Nicks usual position on the bed, but he was nowhere to be seen.
She slid from the comfort of the sheets and wrapped her bathrobe casually around her. Grabbing the comb from her dressing table she ran it briskly through her hair. She yawned quietly to herself as she replaced the comb and slinked out of the room. She could hear the radio on as she walked slowly down the hall, and what sounded like Nick singing, the aroma of something cooking filled her nose as she neared the kitchen.
“My God Nickolas, would you be cooking?” she smiled leaning up against the doorway
“I would be, but I was meant to serve it to you in bed” he winked walking over to where she was standing
“Would you like me to go back in there?” she questioned with a smile
“No, just act surprised when I give it to you” he laughed sliding his hands around her waist.
“Have you seen Ro?” Bianca inquired slipping her way free from his arms and walking over to the breakfast bar
“Nope, she hasn’t surfaced, probably still asleep” Nick replied going back to the bacon he was cooking in the pan
“What are you trying to do, make me fat?” Bianca laughed catching eye of what he was cooking
“Actually I was going to give this to Ro, fatten her up a bit” Nick replied grinning madly
“I'm just going to check she’s okay” Bianca said hopping off the barstool
Bianca wandered down the hall, and stopped outside Arora’s door. She knocked lightly.
“Ro? You in there?” she muttered through the wood
No response.
Bianca waited for a little longer, then opened the door. She looked around, Arora’s bed was made perfectly – she hadn’t come home. Bianca walked into the room, looking around for some sort of note. She spotted a piece of paper hung up on the mirror.
Bianca,

If you’re reading this, that means I didn’t come home last night, please don’t be alarmed I’m fine, there was just something I needed to do. I will be home soon, so there is no need to worry. I wish I could explain to you what I'm feeling right now as I write this, but I don’t think I can, I cant even begin to understand it myself, I guess sometimes your heart tells you something and you cant ever ignore it – maybe this is hard for you to understand, I think it is for me too.

Arora.

Bianca put the note back down on the dressing table and sighed quietly to herself. She knew where Arora would be – you’d have to be stupid not to know, she just hoped Arora knew what she was doing.

~ AT THE SAME TIME ~

“You know it’s about time I got a day off” Tatum sighed as she pulled her blond hair back into a ‘claw-clip’
“So what’s on the agenda?” Alika inquired crunching down on a piece of toast
“A tan, would you look at me? I'm pasty” Tatum laughed staring out the beachfront apartment window
“I'm up for that, you don’t mind if I tag along” Matt questioned from his position on the couch “That is if you want to Ally” he hurriedly added looking up at Alika
“I'm cool, you know, whatever” Alika responded grabbing the orange juice from the fridge
“Sure you guys can come, Christina’s gonna be there too” Tatum replied idly
“I don’t think she likes me” Alika muttered referring to Tatum’s co-star Christina
“That’s probably because you told her she has crocked eyes” Tatum laughed
“Oh yeah probably” Alika replied smiling
“You mind if I use the bathroom?” Matt inquired standing up out of the chair
“Not at all, hello you practically live here” Tatum smiled waving him on

AJ looked across at Chastity who has fast asleep in his arms, even though he’d been awake for over an hour. He sighed contentedly, he had everything he wanted there with Chastity – he knew that much. And soon, he was determined to let the rest of the world know.

~ AT THE SAME TIME ~

Arora’s eyes flickered open. The fire in front of her had through the night petered out and was nothing but ash. She could feel the heaviness of his arm draped over her body as she lay with her back to him. The memory of last night came flooding back – and she hated herself for what she’d done. Slowly she removed his arm from her and slipped out of the couch throw-over they had carelessly used as a blanket. Silently she dressed herself watching Brian for any signs of been awake – there was none.

She grabbed a pen and pad from the desk and began to write,

Dearest Brian
I'm sorry for what happened between us, last night should have never happened and I'm sure we both know that. I wish now that I could turn back time and erase last night because it hurts to know I would do that to you. What we had has long since faded, it died when you told me you didn’t love me. Perhaps now you have changed your mind, but I think it really is to late for us. I spent the last year of my life yearning for the return of your love – but now I think its not what I need. I'm sorry – for everything.

Arora

She replaced the pen into the holder and lay the pad on the desk. She took one last look at Brian, her heart filled with indescribable emotion. She sniffed quietly before running from the room, and straight out the door.
