CHAPTER 46 - WHEN YOU'RE GONE

"Listen to yourself Bianca. I'm not going to answer that" Nick announced, frustrated
"Why? Because you still love her?" Bianca retorted
"NO! Because right now, she's not the one that's asking me to choose, and because of that, maybe she is looking like the better option"
"Then why don't you just fucking say it?"
Nick starred across at her, then stormed past her and out the front door, slamming it loudly behind him.

~10 MINUTES LATER~

Arora yawned quietly as she heard the sound of the front buzzer. She yawned again, fumbling in the dark for the light switch. She wrapped the dressing gown around her as she wandered slowly down the hallway.
"Hello?" she yawned into the intercom
"Arora, it's Nick, can I come up?" Nick replied softly, his face hidden with a baseball cap.
"Sure" Arora answered back, as she buzzed him through

It took only a few minutes before he was at the front door.
"What's up?" Arora smiled as she opened the door to the approaching Nick
He looked up at her, tears staining his cheeks
"God, Nick, is everything okay?" Arora whispered as she gestured for him to come in
"It's Bianca"
He wandered into the lounge and sat down, Arora behind him
"What happened?"
"She's on a rampage, she thinks I still have feelings for you, god she asked me to choose. She said if I loved her, then I couldn't be friends with you" he sighed
Arora choked back a little on his words, she knew Bianca still wasn't over the whole thing, and she knew she had a tendency to over react, but never would she have thought Bianca would make that call.
"I'm sorry, I never knew she'd react this badly" Arora muttered
"Sometimes I just don't understand her, I don't understand it. I say I love her, I show her I love her, but she doesn't understand"
"Maybe you shouldn't be here"
"Arora I'm not going to make that choice"
Arora sighed softly
"Maybe you should"
"What are you saying?"
"Choose Bianca, please just choose her"
A familiar buzz resounded about the house as the intercom rung for the second time that night.
"Hold on" Arora sighed as she walked over to it
"It's Bianca, let me up" Bianca sniffed through the speaker
Arora closed her eyes and sighed slowly, this wasn't going to be good, she could feel it.

"Where is he?" Bianca questioned as Arora opened the door
"Bianca, whatever you think, don't think it" Arora pleaded
"God damnit, where is he?" she cried
"I'm right here" Nick said calmly as he stood in the doorway to the lounge
"I'm taking this as a sign you choose her?" Bianca snapped, casting away a tear from her eye
"Is that what you really think?" Nick scoffed back
"Guys, stop it please, Nick loves you, you love him, God why are you the only ones that don't see that" Arora announced
"Well, I hope you to are happy" Bianca snapped, ignoring Arora's comments
"God Bianca, you are so selfish, you think the bloody world is against you, for god sakes, look around you, do you think if it was Arora I wanted I would be trying my damn hardest to prove to you that I love you"
"But you came here"
"I came here because I thought maybe Arora would be able to tell me how to prove to you my love, I thought maybe that because you were best friends that maybe she would know something about you, but you know what? You are so scared of letting any one into you're life so you push them all out, God Bianca I cant keep doing this, I cant keep fighting for a relationship that You don't want"
"So what do you want?"
"I WANT to give this a try, I don't want to walk away, I don't want to leave. When you're gone Bianca, I'm alone, and I don't want to be alone, I want to be with you" Nick spoke
"I don't want to be alone either"
"Then listen to me when I tell you" Nick said, stepping forward "I love you"
Bianca looked down, then back up, tears fogging her eyes
"Nick" she sniffed "I love you too, but there's something I need to tell you" she choked back
He nodded for her to continue.
"I'm pregnant"
Nick stumbled on her words, his eyes gaping much the same as his mouth.
"Now do you still love me?" she whispered frightfully
"Of course I do" Nick smiled embracing her tightly "I cant ever stop loving you Bianca, you're my life"

Arora smiled as she closed the door, it made her once again happy to see Bianca and Nick leave hand in hand. She'd congratulated Bianca, and within a few minutes they were on their way.

"Let's just go home" Nick sighed
"Hold that thought, there's something I need to do" Bianca smiled, rushing back up the stairs as Nick ventured into the night.
Bianca knocked hurriedly on Arora's door, within seconds Arora opened it. Bianca raced in wrapping her arms around Arora's neck and hugging her tightly as she cried.
"I'm sorry for everything" she sniffed as she slowly let Arora go
"It's okay, we're both sorry" Arora smiled
"Could we be best friends again?" Bianca spoke, tears dripping from her eyes
"I'd love that" Arora grinned, tears forming in her eyes also

"Ready to go?" Nick smiled as he propped himself up against the car, Bianca just walking through the gates
"One more thing" Bianca smiled pulling her cell phone from her bag
She walked over and leaned against the wall, away from Nick's earshot as she hurriedly dialed the number.
"Hello?" Brian yawned after what seemed like a thousand rings
"Brian, it's Bianca, there's something I need to tell you"
"Really, what?" Brian questioned as he carelessly rubbed his eyes
"Do you remember the night you first broke up with Arora?"
"Yeah" Brian coughed, it wasn't exactly a highlight
"The reason you did it was because you didn't think she was ready for the next level, isn't that right?"
"How did you know?"
"That doesn't matter, I do know, now there is something you need to know"
"What?"
"Arora is ready, she was ready. That afternoon she bought you a ring, she was going to ask you to marry her"
Brian's mouth fell open, his head slowly shaking in disbelief.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes"
"Why are you telling me this?"
"Because, Arora was ready then, and I'm sure she's ready now, she deserves to be happy, and you can give that to her, I know you can" Bianca smiled
"I, I don't know what to say"
"Just do what you're heart says, Arora spent so many nights telling me that, and now I'm telling you. I have to go" she announced before hanging up.
