DRINK & BE MERRY


BETTER THAN EGGNOG




3 Large eggs
1 qt Orange juice
1/4 cL emon juice
2 tb Sugar
1/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1/8 ts Ground ginger
2 qt Vanilla ice cream; softened
1 qt Ginger ale
Ground nutmeg
1 Dash ground cloves

Whisk the eggs in a large bowl until frothy. Mix in the orange and lemon juices, suar, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Spoon the ice cream into a large punch bowl; stir in the egg mixture until combined. Refrigerate if not serving immediately. Before serving, pour in the ginger ale. Sprinkle the top with nutmeg. Makes 18 (6 oz) servings.




Almost Sicilian Splash

4 Cubes ice
2 Jiggers white grape juice
1 Jigger orange soda
Sparkling water
1 Lemon slice -- garnish

Tall fluted glass. Blend in order given. Serve with lemon slice and a straw.





Amaretto cafŽ (italian coffee)




1 c Black coffee
1 oz Amaretto
Whipped topping
1 Maraschino cherry

Fill coffee mug or cup with hot coffee. Stir in amaretto. Top with pressurized dessert topping and cherry. Serve with teaspoon.





Banana Republic




2 Whole banana peeled and Sliced
1 cn Pineapple rings in juice
6 oz Mango juice
6 oz Rum -- to taste
Ginger ale
1 Maraschino cherry

Throw all the ingredients except the ginger ale/soda & cherry in a blender and liquefy. Toss a couple ice cubes in a collins glass and fill it half way with banana republic. Add ale/soda to the top and stir slowly. Toss in your Cherry, Now, put on a safari jacket, kick back in the lawn chair, crank up the stereo and sip away.
