On the Ship Mohawk that came to America in 23 Apr 1803 the passenger list has Samuel Thompson with James Thompson and 4 other Thompsons.  They were all Scottish but fled to Ireland during the revolution for independence and freedom.  Then in Ireland there was terrible civil war that caused half the population to flee, most of which came to America.  It lists Samuel age 28 his occupation as labourer and they boarded from Dungannon.
Not possitive that this is the same Samuel Thompson, but I know that a James Thompson  also lived in Ohio. So I am thinking that these ship passengers is this line.
I have alot more info for the descendants of Samuel and Elizabeth.  If you would like more info for each child please email me.
