| Candidate | *Adult* | Navi Weyr |
"Late?" The brunette paced, "How on Pern could it be late?" The tithes of meats due to Navi was late and somehow, Tengee would have to come up with the amount of meat to show the Headowman. Somehow.
A drudge shuffled past and Tengee shot out a dark haired arm. "You. Go out to the pens and count the beasts." Being a assistant to the headwoman allowed no time to be curteous. Her brown eyes flashed as the dudge hurried past, on to her new duty.
On a second though, maybe the drudges should get a marks or two for the upcoming Gather, it was a possibility since they did work hard. As she paced, Iilin follwed her patiently, trying to massage her shoulders and release some of the tension that hung in the air. Iilin was a faithful pal, Tengee's best friend with a weak will and willing body. If Tengee told him to jump, he'd ask how high. That was the kind of relationship the two shared. Tengee demanded and Iilin gave, no matter the price.
As her eyes grew bloodshot, her anger built as Iilin tried his best to soothe her mind and soul. That was his gift, to heal. Hers, to lead and command. Back at Aden Weyrhold, she had took rank as Jr. Headwoman and used her position fairly, demanding only what had to be done with no extras.
She ran a hand through her hair and mumored. "How could have those holds not tihed? How?" Being in charge for turns had given the 19 turn old girl an appearance of one at least one and a half times her age. Wrinkles creased around her small eyes and puddles gathered around full lips. Iilin tried to soothe her. "Sit... sit.." He told her and guided her to a chair in the bustling kitchen. "You shouldn't have this stress while you are being a candidate..." He mumored softly and she bolted out of the chair.
"That's something else I have to do. Take care of this." She stated and waved a long-fingered hand at the mess of hides resting on the counter. "I have to see about my candidate's alfit. I also have a class today at.." She jumped. "Oh no! I'm late." She declared with a resound sadness. "Please, be good and take care of this, you know what you need to do. I have to get to that class..."
After she was Searched from Aden, she'd immediately asked for a psotion with command. She didn't want to lose any of her skills while waiting impatiently for the eggs to hatch. Impatience and forgetfulness were Tengee's downfalls that prevented her from being a full fledged Headwoman. She had the skills but not the patience to deal with the slow-minded drudges, yet that could be improved, or so Aden's Headwoman though, if she was given enough time. Time was a valuable commodity and Tengee used it to her full advantage.
