This is not a fantasy website; it is about what elves, fairies, witches and other such subjects of fantasy really were.

It will look at fantasies, especially popular ones, but from a critical viewpoint. While it looks fairly at paganism, it takes a Christian view of the world.

It especially pays tribute to Dr Margaret A Murray, whose insightful analysis of the historical records that survive concerning witch trials, pagan rituals and the phenomenon of the divine king made this website possible.
