Seventh Grade : Some Suggested Objectives and Resources
Individual teachers decide on special conditions, criteria, and assesment tool.
Objectives
7.1    Research, compose, design, edit, and publish at least one computerized newspaper.
7.2    Solve at least 20 advanced math enrichment activities on ability level.
7.3    Apply advanced questioning skills and logical reasoning to induct needed information to
         solve at least 15 ambiguous situations.
7.4    Manipulate objects to solve at least 20 visual perceptions and logical analysis activities
         on advanced level.
7.5    Investigate the field of architecture and complete at least 2 projects.
7.6    Learn the concepts behind investing while exploring mutual funds, stocks, bonds, etc. and participate in
         a stock game.
7.7    Learn advanced math skills through a variety of modalities.
7.8    Synthesize debating techniques by participating in at least one debate.
7.9    Analyze at least 15 deductive reasoning activities involving comparison and contradictions of data with
         a graphic organizer for collection of information.
7.10  Learn beginning memory techiques using a series of 16 tapes in Kevin Trudeau's Mega Memory.
7.11  Continue to build critical and creative reasoning skills through language enrichment activities on ability
         level.
7.12  Create and maintain a web page using a page builder tool.
7.13  Utilize available technology to enrich core curriculum areas to challenge abilities in preparation for
          future standardized tests.
7.14  Use available technology to produce tables, spreadsheets, mail merge list, and print labels.
7.15  Continue to use spreadsheet program to produce quality projects such as charts and graphs to enhance
         the regular curriculum.
7.16  Analyze, synthesize, and evaluate writing techniques to create and publish a creative mystery.
7.17  Learn the basics of how to get writing published, learn tips from young writers, learn the pros and cons
         of on-line publishing, and gather resource lists.  At least one submission is required.

7.18. Diagram the structural relationship of words within a sentence for better understanding of language
         syntax.
7.19  Create an architectural desing using avaliable software and/or model
7.20  Increase reading speed and maintain or increase comprehension for standardized test preparation.
