FLOWER
Can man can
make a flower?
or produce a
majestic tree?
Who can
create an orchid?
I doubt it is
you or me.
We can, however,
admire beauty
which Nature
intriguingly bestows,
in the delicate
perfume
of an
orchid or a rose.
We can walk in
peace among them,
guarding them
with greatest care
then conserve
them for our children,
the world's
species - common and rare.
