| Motherwood | A smooth magical wood with a unique ability to resist deterioration caused by age, heat, or moister. This wood is soft and easy to carve and shape making it ideal for sculpting and architectural designs. Due to it's softness, motherwood cannot effectively be used for making weapons or armor unless other magical means of strengthening the wood are used. Without magical reinforcement, all armor made of motherwood gains only half it's normal armor bonus and must make a save DC 10 + damage taken. Should the armor fail, it's armor bonus becomes lowered by one with each failure. Likewise, all weapons made from motherwood must make a save DC 10 plus the damage it dealt or they will break, becoming useless. Motherwood has 5 hp per inch of thickness and hardness 3. |
