CUB SCOUT NEWS
Cub Scout Pack 3060
New Delhi, India

Cub Scouting is a family- and home-centered program for boys in the first through fifth grade (or 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 years old). Cub Scouting's emphasis is on a quality program at the local level where both boys and families are involved.

Cub Scout Pack 3060 meets once a month on Saturday afternoons starting in August and finishing in May. The dens meet individually as prescribed by each of the den leaders with inputs from den members and their parents (normally twice a month).

Cub Scout dens and placements are:

Tiger Cubs first grade
Wolf Cub Scouts second grade
Bear Cub Scouts third grade
Webelos Scouts I fourth grade
Webelos Scouts II fifth grade

This is a special year for Cub Scouts! Over the course of the year, the pack will meet in order to work on special projects, go on field trips, participate in the Pinewood Derby, and enjoy an over-night family campout. We start our Cub Scout year with learning about how Cubs can "Save The Earth" with an eco-tour on the Yamuna River in collaboration with the Centre for Science & Environment. Cubs will even get a chance to test the Yamuna's water quality!

The past several years have been highly successful and rewarding as there has been a great deal of family participation. To continue on this same path, we encourage parents to step up and volunteer their assistance this year.
