| The meeting of the PSA was called to order at 8:40 a.m. by ES Chair, Janet Golden.  
Minutes from the last meeting were approved.
 
 
 
Bob Hetzel addressed the group; then each of the principals:  Michael Foxall, 
Paul Fochtman and Uwe Bagnato spoke briefly.
 
Officers introduced themselves.  The Chair explained how the meetings are run.
 
Debra Unger spoke about the new ES Publishing Center.
 
Urged parents to read the email and check the website, as this year the school 
is experimenting with ways of communicating.
 
Urged parents to attend meetings and coffee meetings.
 
Invited parents to use the facilities in the ES and MS/HS libraries.
 
Explained the International Food Fair
 
Debra Unger stepped down as PSA Board representative and we welcomed Renu Dhawan 
who will be taking her place.
 
Introduced Mallika Pillai who will continue as this year's PSA Rep to the Curriculum 
Council.
 
Sunita Kunzru gave her last Treasurer's Report; Lorraine Moos will take over that 
position.
 
Spoke about tomorrow night's event, Quiz Night, and urged parents to come enjoy the game.
 
Talked about the upcoming Welcome Back Fest and asked for volunteers.
 
Mentioned that the PSA would be planning a Diwali celebration in lieu of the annual 
India Night Under the Stars, since we effectively did that very event in February of 2002 
for the 50th Anniversary.
 
Informed those present of the PSA's other upcoming events during the school year.
 The meeting was adjourned at approximately 9:45 a.m.
