| Elegance. Beauty. Pride. Amiara was born and raised to be the perfect elf maiden, but despite all this, in the eyes her peers she could never be their equal or be permitted to live among them. Born to exiled parents, Amiara was looked down upon by other members of her race, because she too was a dark elf. Dissapointed, and outraged that she was to pay for her parents' mistakes, Amiara shunned the ways of her race and set off in search of a new way of life. It wasn't long before she was fortunate enough to stumble across the path of an elf by the name of Aredhel. When finally he asked for her hand in marriage, Amiara knew she had found the new life she had dreamed of. At last she was wanted, and accepted for who and what she was. Abandoning their pasts, they set out to build a life all their own. Aredhel and Amiara founded The House of Aetharyn, where outcasts could rid themselves of their past and begin a new one. Having no children of their own, Amiara was more than pleased to find a small boy,taking him in and treating him as her own son. At first Ares was happy to see his wife love a child and was pleased with the happiness the boy brought her, but as the boy grew and distanced himself further away from the family he urged her to let him go. Amiara, so attatched to the child, refused. Her refusal caused trouble between her and her partner, and often sparks fights between the two to this very day. Because she never fit in growing up, Amiara is sensitive to the differences of others, and unlike her husband she is very accepting of faults and flaws. Leader of the Second House, she is anything but a weak-willed woman, and when the need arises she can be rather intimidating, though it seems to wound her deeply when she must be so with those she loves most. |
