| After a few days in fast paced Milan, we moved east to Venice. Aaaah, Venice! We took a speed tour of the Grand Canal via "vaporetto". We spent most of our time in the heart of Venice - Piazza San Marco. One evening, we attended a concert held in a church. Amazing sound! We didn't want to leave, but there was the rest of the country to see. Luckily, we left when we did. On the last day of our stay, the hightides of Venice had arrived. The walkways that were once dry were hidden by a foot of water! We made it out, but our feet were somewhat soaked. Aaaah, Venice! |
