An IEP meeting must take place at least every 12 months.  However, they can be more frequent if the teacher or parent feels the IEP needs to be modified in any way.  The parent/guardian will be notified when the 12 months meeting is scheduled.  If for any reason the parent is unable to attend simply call the school and reschedule the meeting.

What is the parent/guardian’s role at the IEP?
