Revelations
Episode 18
**
Harvey looked across the bed as Anna lay asleep next to him, wondering what he was doing. His conversation with Rachel about Anna replayed in his head as he closed his weary eyes as the nightmare began...
Harvey turned his head to find Anna watching him with Rachel, as he kissed her again.

"It's either her or your son, you have to decide. You can't have it both ways, Harvey." Anna stood there, twirling her pitchfork between her fingers.

Jerry appeared before all of them, the deciding factor. Anna looked to her young son and pointed towards Harvey, "now tell Daddy you want him to be with mommy." Jerry looks towards Harvey and back at Anna, completely confused. "Tell him, Jerry."

"Daddy..." Harvey seperates himself from Rachel to take his son into his arms. Harvey turns around to go back to Rachel, only to find Nash there as well. Nash had his arms wrapped tightly around her, looking like he'd never let her go.

"You can't have it both ways, Harvey." Nash looked at Rachel and smiled, "it works out, you get your kid and I get Rachel. Thanks, Anna. "

"Rachel, wait, we can work something out. Don't go back to him, you were miserable." Harvey could tell she wasn't listening, but was hopeful as she moved away from Nash's strong embrace.

"I told you I won't wait forever." Rachel walked up towards Harvey and whispered in his ear, completely distracting him.

"So what's it going to be? Your lover or your son?" Anna looked at him with an accusing glare. Harvey could feel the wait of their stares upon him...

**
"Looks like we've got Marks exactly where we want him. As long as he follows his own trail, we can wrap things up today." Nash was confident Marks would fall right into their trap. He wouldn't be free to terrorize the city much longer. Things would be finished by early afternoon, it might not be such a bad dat after all.

"I'll keep McCabe and Antwon posted by the hotel in case anything goes down early. Where do you want me?" Joe knew the set up Nash had in mind, but he could tell this wasn't going to be an easy bust if Marks caught on."

"Stay here for now, is Harvey in yet?" Nash had already seen Rachel, so the two weren't together for breakfast as they often were. He remembered Harvey mentioning Anna was in town so that might be the hold up.

"Haven't seen him yet, maybe Anna is staging World War 3?" Joe knew Anna was a force to be reckoned with and Harvey probably encountered his share of problems every time she came back.

"I wouldn't doubt it." Nash could never understand what Harvey saw in Anna, she was so different from him.

"I'll go see if Antwon has heard from him, keep me posted.'' Joe headed down the stairs, leaving Nash to question Harvey's whereabouts.

**
Anna paced around the kitchen, ''what's going on with you, Harvey?"

Harvey struggled to avoid making eye contact with her, there was no way he could bring himself to tell her to her face it was over."Anna, we can't do this."

"Do what?" Anna couldn't see what he was getting at. As far as she was concerned, he was hers for the taking.

''Be together like this, it's not right.'' Harvey knew in his heart this wasn't right for him, it wasn't meant to be. He looked at his watch, "I'm already late.''

Harvey grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder, Anna stopped him before he could get to the door. ''We'll talk later. Oh, Rachel called for you this morning.'' She kissed him hard upon the lips, not wanting him to forget what he would have waiting at home.

"Anna, it's over.'' Harvey walked towards the door as Anna's eyes began to well up with tears. This battle wasn't over yet.

**
"Nice of you to join us, Harvey." Antwon smiled as Harvey approached them from the safe confines of the PT Cruiser.

''What's going down?" Harvey knew this case was quickly coming to an end as he saw the officers grouped together outside of the hotel.

''He's hiding out inside, surprisingly enough --- he wasn't hard to find." Antwon wondered about the case being so easy. Cases like this didn't come along everyday.

''What do you mean?" Harvey was a bit confused by Antwon. The case had gone on for over a week, it wasn't opened and closed overnight.

"He practically gave himself away." It seemed a little bizarre, maybe Marks figured there was no way out.

"LET'S MOVE!" Ronnie led a team of officers towards the hotel as Marks attempted to flee. It wasn't long before they tackled him down and handcuffed him.

**
"I bet you're wondering why I turned myself in.'' John Marks looked at Nash intently through the bars of his cell while Nash filled out the necessary paperwork.

''You knew there was no way out?" Nash didn't think there could be much more to it.

"There was a way out, there's always bigger fish to fry, so to speak." John knew he could get off sooner or later, he could certainly tell them a thing or two and be an excellent informer.

"You're in here for rape and murder, you know you're not going to get off any time soon." Nash didn't want to get this loser's hopes up.

"You never know when I might come in handy, Captain. You never know."

**
''Anna, I told you not to bother me at work unless it's an emergency.'' Harvey was aggravated to accept her call, but he knew he had to.

"Your son's happiness isn't an emergency?" Anna wanted him to drop what he was doing and join them at home. His long hours were insane and they deserved the extra attention.

''Anna, now's not the time to discuss this.'' Harvey didn't want to get into the subject while he was still on the clock. There were going to be too many problems.

"There's someone else, isn't there Harvey?" Anna believed there had to be someone else in his life since he wasn't jumping to return to her open arms.

''It doesn't matter if there is or isn't, you can't hold my son against me, Anna." Harvey was sick and tired of her using Jerry to get what she wanted, he wasn't going to miss his chance at happiness because of her petty attitude.

"So you'd take him away from his mother?" That's exactly how Anna saw it, preferring to torture Harvey by taking Jerry away rather than seeing another woman act in her place.

"We'll discuss this later." Harvey hung up the phone, he didn't have time to deal with this. Anna wasn't going to easily go away, but he wasn't going to be her victim any more.

**
"So you're the one now..." Anna stood before Rachel's desk with her arms folded across her chest and a bitter scowl upon her face.

"Excuse me?" Rachel normally would've treated her a little better, but this was no way to approach someone she didn't even know.

"You're the one Harvey's with, aren't you? You're the reason he won't come back to me and his son." Anna was furious that Harvey had lied to her about Rachel. She was coming between them, and Anna wasn't going to stand for it.

"Wait a minute here, I'm not stopping Harvey from anything. I told Harvey that if he wants to be with you, he has every right to." Rachel couldn't believe Anna would come up to her about this, she had given Harvey the chance to leave and wasn't holding him back.

"I don't believe you for a minute, first it was his job and his inability to commit --- now this time it's you. Is homewrecking something you do often, or just with co-workers?" Anna couldn't control herself and Rachel seemed to be the ideal target for her anger, she had to let it out on someone.

''My personal life is none of your business, and for the record, I believe it was you who walked away from Harvey." Rachel intended for that comment to sting, Anna had no right to come in accusing her of something she had no control over. Antwon saw the two women arguing by Rachel's desk and decided to come closer to see what was going on.

"You'd say that wouldn't you? You just wait, one day Harvey's going to realize the mistake he's making and he's going to hate you for keeping him from me.'' Anna still imagined that she and Harvey were meant to be together, anyone who thought differently was susceptible to her wrath. "We were meant to be together, he still loves me, you know? He'll see that one day."

"You'll be the first to know when that day comes, hell, I'll call you myself." Rachel couldn't imagine Harvey ever being with someone as petty as Anna. He seemed far too good for someone like her. Not that Rachel thought she deserved a man like him herself, but he was worthy of someone at least a little better than Anna. Antwon stood a little to the side, chuckling at the anger filled expression on Rachel's face as he waited for her to take the first swing. "You left him long ago, you walked out of his life. You can't expect him to drop everything just because you came back to reality."
Rachel didn't need to result in violence, her words packed enough punch.

"I should slap you for that." Anna didn't appreciate Rachel's brutal honesty, thou she knew she was right.

"And then I could arrest you, anything else you'd like to say?" Rachel had enough, she wasn't going to allow herself to be massacred for Anna and Harvey's past.

"Wait till Harvey hears about this, you just wait." Anna had intended to scare Rachel off, she hadn't anticipated her being this feisty.

"Tell him whatever you want, he's all yours.'' Rachel sat back down in her chair and waited for Anna to walk away. Anna was frustrated that Rachel had resisted her so well. She thought this would be an easy fight. Anna walked towards the doors, turning back to give Rachel a final scowl.

"Damn girl, one up for McCabe!" Antwon came towards her desk with an ear to ear grin, "those were some fightin' words."

"Don't you have work to do?" Rachel looked at the clock, realizing they were both more than done for the day.

"I did, but then I thought I'd have to break up a nasty little catfight over Harvey and I was distracted." Antwon chuckled at Rachel's defense of Harvey, wondering if Harvey had ever seen this side of Rachel. "Some men find feistiness to be a big turn on."

"And some women find eavesdropping a big turn off." Rachel smiled, knowing that she and Anna were probably loud enough for the entire city to hear.

"I guess you'll be moving yourself in tomarrow." Antwon turned from Rachel, acting as if he were offended by her comment. "All those boxes, one by one in your little two-seater car."

''I'll see you at seven." Rachel grinned, waiting for Antwon's response to her early hour.

"Girl, you're crazy. Not even Harvey would help you at that hour.'' Antwon knew that Harvey would do anything for Rachel, no matter what the time. "I'll see you at nine."

**
"What's this all about?" Harvey set his jacket down on top of the chair and walked towards the candlelit dining room.

Anna came towards him, outfitted quite seductively in a low-cut dress, "I think you know exactly what this is about." She grabbed his hand and led him towards the table, ''it's about us..."

"Anna, please... let's not go through this again." Harvey pulled away from her embrace, sparking a fiery reaction.

"Harvey, why won't you give us a try? Can't you see what this is doing to our son?'' Anna was furious he had rejected her advance. In her mind, Jerry wanted them together. It never struck her that Jerry might prefer to see his parents happily together with other people than miserably together.

"Don't you bring him into this. I'm not the one who took him away.'' Harvey wasn't about to let Anna dangle Jerry in front of him like some prize.

''Why do you think I left, Harvey? There was always something or someone else." She could see she was loosing this battle, but there was going ot be a fight.

"That's a lie and you know it, you left because you were scared." Harvey stood there, watching Anna pouting before him. He hated when she acted like the martyr she wasn't.

"I was afraid of losing you." Anna threw herself at him and kissed him forcefully, he didn't know what to do as she backed him against the wall. He was immobilized
with emotion, she wasn't supposed to do that and he wasn't supposed to be with her. Harvey's mind flashed to the day in the parking lot with Rachel. Anna pulled away as Harvey stood there in shock, he wiped his mouth and walked towards the other side of the room.

"Where's Jerry?" He had to change the subject, get his mind on something else. Her kiss was the last thing he wanted.

"He's asleep, why?" Anna couldn't understand him asking about Jerry, his attention was meant to be focused on her. As Harvey walked down the hall towards Jerry's room, Anna could tell she was going to be ignored. "Harvey, please don't do this to us. Don't walk away.''

Harvey turned around and stopped before walking into Jerry's room, ''Anna, please.
We're not meant to be together. I don't want you like that." Harvey watched as Anna turned from him, with tears in her eyes, and went back towards the living room. She picked up her purse and walked out the open door. Harvey stood there for a moment silently before walking into his own bedroom. He came in and sat down on the bed, staring at the phone. Harvey wanted to call her.

**
"Rache, can I ask you something?'' Nash looked at Rachel as she sat quietly on the bar stool next to him. "It's kind of personal."

''Has that ever stopped you before?" Rachel knew Nash well enough to know that if he wanted to find out something, he'd ask until she told him. Rachel's grin told Nash she was open for questionning. "Is it so personal you can't find out by looking in my file?"

"You know I wouldn't do that. This wouldn't be in there anyways..." Nash hated dancing around the subject, he wanted to cut to the chase. He wasn't sure there
was a subtle way to do so.

"Oh, so this would be a recent amendment to the Rachel McCabe file.'' Rachel wondered what he was getting at.

"You could say that.'' Nash was trying to be evasive, but he could tell Rachel was frustrated with the mystery.

"Are you going to ask me or are we going to play twenty questions until you know my life story?" Rachel had told Nash a lot about herself in the time they were together, she was wondering what could be so important that he'd question her off the clock.

"You said before that you were seeing someone new?" Nash remembered their conversation distinctly, not sure if he'd be able to refrain from wanting her for himself again.

''I did, and I am... well, sort of.'' It became very clear to Rachel what this conversation was about. She didn't know how to classify her relationship with Harvey, since it was technically on hold.

"The other night, when I called you... Harvey was there?" The pieces were beginning to fit for Nash, it was Harvey she was with. How could he have not seen it sooner?

"Yes.'' Rachel didn't know if there was an easier way to tell him, she watched the expression change on his face. She worried about his reaction.

"It makes sense now, with Harvey --- and how much he cares for you.'' Nash felt like an idiot for not realizing Harvey's feelings for Rachel sooner and wondered how long this had been going on.

"Nash, I swear to you --- nothing started before we were finished. The attraction has always been there, but we've never acted on it." Not that a promise like that would make him feel any better, Rachel still felt like she was pouring salt into Nash's open wound.

"I wasn't accusing you of that, and I know you both well enough that you wouldn't do that to me." Nash thought about it for a minute, it was impossible to be angry at the two for finding happiness in eachother. Harvey was there when Rachel needed someone to talk to and Nash was too busy. He couldn't blame Harvey for falling for Rachel.

"I can tell you're angry.'' Rachel could tell by his expression he wasn't thrilled with the news.

"Rachel, I'm not angry." Nash couldn't be mad at her, it wasn't like she was his anymore. She had every right to be with someone else, even one of his best friend's.

"I didn't do this to hurt you, Nash." Rachel hadn't intentionally fallen for Harvey, it just happened.

"I know. I just wanted to clear things up, you don't have to hide. I do remember what it's like to want to flaunt being in love." Nash wanted to assure Rachel he was okay with her being with Harvey.

''I wouldn't go that far." Rachel smiled, relieved Nash wasn't furious and ready to sign their pink slips out of the SIU.

"Ah, the Anna roadblock...'' Nash had heard from Harvey that she was back in town.

''What have I gotten myself into?" Rachel laughed, knowing she was in for quite a ride as far as Anna's involvement was concerned.

"You have no idea." Nash smiled at her, as much as he hated to let her go, he was glad to see her happy.

**
Rachel walked out of the bar alone towards the parking lot. Nash had already left and she needed the extra time to think about everything going on. Anna saw Rachel as she walked towards the bar. Having had enough to drink, Rachel was about to hear exactly what was on Anna's mind.

Rachel could see Anna was drunk and was willing to put their argument aside to make sure she got home safely. "Anna, are you okay?"

''Leave it to you, to offer to help me. What the hell do you care?" Anna wasn't about to buy Rachel's nice guy act. "Harvey's not around, you don't have to act all nice and friendly."

''I was going to offer you a ride home, but since you think that's what I'm doing --- I'd much rather pay for your cab." Rachel didn't want to deal with Anna's drunken ramblings during the ride. She'd rather pay five dollars and keep her sanity.

''How saintly, you can't win me over, no matter how nice you pretend to be." Anna was sure this was all some act to buy her approval.

"I'm not trying to win you over, Anna, I was trying to make sure that you got home in one piece." There was no point in arguing with her, she wasn't going to listen.

"You'd like that, wouldn't you? If I never came home? You'd have my son and Harvey all to yourself...'' Anna thought Rachel was trying to take over her life.

"I'm don't want your life, that's not what I'm after." It was obvious all of Anna's rage was going to be taken out upon Rachel.

"You lying witch!" Out of nowhere, Anna's right first met Rachel's face. Rachel fell back against her car from the blow, momentarily disoriented. Regaining her composure, Rachel fought the urge to hit her back. Anna stood before her, shocked at what she had done.

''That's some punch.'' Rachel looked at Anna for a moment, still in disbelief. "I'll forgive you that because you're drunk, don't let it happen again."

Hitting Rachel didn't make Anna feel any better, it made her feel worse. Her main concern wasn't Rachel retaliating, but what Rachel planned to tell Harvey. Rachel pulled out her cell phone and called for a cab before driving off.

**
''You know she's crazy about you, don't you?" Antwon watched Jerry running through the park with his kite. Antwon had stopped when he saw Harvey's car there before he went to help Rachel move in early that morning.

''You mean Rachel?" Harvey was almost positive this was who he was referring to, but he wanted to be sure. He had mentioned Anna was in town, but didn't think Antwon had the opportunity to meet her.

''You should've seen her yesterday at the SIU. She's a spitfire.'' Antwon wasn't sure if Anna had told him about her encounter with Rachel or not.

''Huh?" Harvey wasn't sure what Antwon was talking about.

''You mean Anna didn't tell you about her little talk with Rachel?" Antwon was surprised Anna didn't come home crying wolf.

''She hadn't mentioned anything, before I told her I still wasn't interested and she took off for the evening.'' Anna had returned earlier that morning to collect her things and talk with Harvey. Her flight was later that afternoon. Harvey was interested. He wanted to hear about Rachel's first official meeting with Anna.

''After Anna came in like that, I thought Rachel was going to deck her. Anna kept going on and on about you and her being meant for eachother... I think Rachel put her in her place.'' Antwon wasn't sure how Harvey would react, since he hadn't made any official decisions yet. "I know what your kid means to you, Harvey, but Rachel's got some serious feelings for you too.''

"I know." Harvey knew how Rachel felt about him, and he had to admit the feelings were mutual.

"If Anna didn't scare her off, I don't know what will." Antwon could see Rachel was willing to fight for Harvey, but was also ready to let him go if it meant him being happy. "I've got to go, tell Jerry I said good-bye."

**
"Nash, you've got a package here from Susan Van Zandt." Nick held the package out to Nash, who looked at him suspiciously.

"What would Tamara's sister be sending me?" Nash couldn't imagine what Susan Van Zandt would want from him, last time he heard from Tamara she and her sister hadn't spoken in over 15 years.

"Maybe a belated wedding gift." Nick smiled, he loved to remind Nash of his three day marriage to Tamara.

"Very funny." Nash got out a knife to open the package. He found a letter inside and began to read. The words couldn't be true. "Oh God..."

**
"So I hear you met Rachel?" Harvey walked into the guest room where Anna was packing up her bag. Anna didn't tell him about the shiner she had given Rachel. The last thing she needed was Harvey to have something else against her. She'd hear it from him soon enough, let Rachel tell him.

"She's not the one for you, Harvey." Anna had convinced herself that she was the only woman meant for Harvey Leek.

"I thought that was for me to decide?" Harvey didn't know when Anna had appointed herself in charge of his love life.

"Harvey, she's keeping us and our family apart." Anna was sure that had Rachel not been around, Harvey would be her's again.

"Rachel isn't trying to keep me from you, Anna. She let me go, she wants me to be happy which is something you were never really concerned with." Harvey realized what Rachel had done for him, he wasn't used to being treated like that. She put his happiness before her own.

"That's not true, Harvey. You know your happiness means everything to me." Anna couldn't see herself as selfish, she had done Harvey a favor by coming back home.

"If my happiness meant something to you, why would you make me chose between my son and the woman I... I... I've got serious feelings for?" Harvey hated that Anna used Jerry as a bargaining chip, but as long as she had custody there was nothing he could do about it.

"You made that choice yourself and you'll suffer the consequences one day. I'd prefer if you didn't drag our son into your relationship with her, she's not the motherly type." Anna couldn't stand the thought of another woman being around her son.

"How would you know?" Harvey didn't know where Anna was coming from with her comment, but he didn't like it all the same.

Anna needed to change the subject since she had no evidence to back up her accusation. "Jerry's plane ticket is on his dresser, I'll call him when I get back."

"That's fine. I'll be sure to check in with you." Harvey heard the honking of the cab outside. "You'll be late."

"Take care of our son, Harvey." Anna picked up her bag and left the room, leaving Harvey to ponder his next move. Anna wanted to call Rachel before she left, to apologize for the punch but not what she had said. Since she lived relatively close, she decided to stop by.

**
Anna stood outside Rachel's door, surprised when Antwon answered. She had met him briefly, so she knew who he was. "Anna?" Antwon was surprised she would show up to Rachel's house after the evidence she left on Rachel's face.

"Is Rachel around?" Anna felt bad about having hit her, she had no reason to go that far.

"Hold on." Antwon walked back into the house and Rachel came towards the door, shocked to see Anna there.

"What can I do for you?" Rachel had no idea why Anna would be coming over to her house, she thought she had pretty well spoken her mind the evening before.

''I guess I wanted to apologize for the eye. I don't regret what I said, but I shouldn't have hit you." Anna could see that Rachel obviously meant a lot to Harvey and wasn't going to be a passing phase of his life, the least she could do was make things amicable for Jerry's sake.

''Apology accepted.'' Rachel's eye didn't look too good, Anna did a hell of a job. Rachel saw no reason not to accept the apology, for what it was worth. Anna was far too territorial for her liking, but with Harvey --- who wouldn't be?

"But know this, by being with Harvey, you'll be around my son. And if you so much as hurt him, a black eye will be the least of your worries.'' With that, Anna was finished. Rachel knew exactly where things stood between them. Anna walked onto the porch and down the steps. She was gone, for now. Little did Rachel know this would only be the beginning of their battles.

**
"Joe, it's me, Nash. You remember Tamara Van Zandt?" Nash was sitting on his couch as he read the letter from Susan time and time again.

"Remember? How could I forget? Let me guess, you need me to come to Vegas so you two can elope?" Joe knew very well of Nash's fondness for Tamara Van Zandt, he just hoped she wasn't out to love him and leave him again. Nash didn't need another broken heart.

"She's dead, Joe." There was no other way to tell him. He had to come out and say it, to make it real.

"WHAT?" Joe couldn't believe what Nash had said, Tamara had more lives than a cat. Surely there was some mistake.

"She's dead. She left with Vincent Cardell and never came back." Nash couldn't make himself believe the news, she couldn't really be gone.

"So he killed her?" Joe knew Vincent Cardell was a mobster, but up till this point, murder wasn't on his rap sheet.

''Apparently so.'' Nash knew there was nothing he could do about Cardell as long as he was on the East Coast, but if he came back, Cardell was a dead man.

"So now what do you want to do?" Joe knew that Nash wouldn't let Vincent Cardell get away with Tamara's death. "Nash?"

"Give me time." Nash needed an idea, Cardell wasn't going to get away with what he had done

**
"Need anything else?" Antwon brought in the last box down and evaluated the space. He saw Harvey coming up the sidewalk towards the house and smiled, Harvey had made up his mind.

"Can I buy you dinner?" Rachel wanted to somehow repay Antwon for giving up his Saturday afternoon to help her move in. She knew he wouldn't expect anything in return, but Rachel felt obligated to do something for the favor.

"I'd say yes, but I believe the president of the Neighborhood Welcoming Committee is here for you. I'll collect my fee later on." Antwon chuckled at Rachel's insistence she wasn't moving to be closer to Harvey, but because of the location. "Maybe you should ask him about getting one of those gorgeous trees you claim influenced your move to the area." Rachel looked out the window to find Harvey. Harvey knocked on the door, surprised when Antwon answered as Rachel emerged from behind a stack of boxes. That's when he saw her eye, evidence of Anna's right hook. He had been on the receiving end before himself.

"Harvey, Rachel... I'll see you both Monday, I've got to get ready for a date." Antwon decided the two needed some personal space to talk and left, shutting the door behind him. Harvey presented Rachel with a fresh bouquet of long-stemmed red roses. She assumed he was either here to sign her off for good or win her back, the flowers definitely meant something.

"You let him help you move in?" Harvey chuckled, knowing Antwon was probably the best person she could find for the job. "You must have been desperate."

''Yeah, but I don't think I can pay him with Ben and Jerry's." Rachel knew that would strike a chord with Harvey, being his most typical means of bribery.

"Beer is always good too.'' Harvey wished Rachel would've asked him for help, but knew due to Anna's presence, she resisted.

''We're talking about Antwon, not you." Rachel smiled and waited, wondering why Harvey had come by. "How's Anna?" Rachel had put off thinking about her, but the subject was inevitable. She assumed she went back to Harvey's after stopping by.

Harvey glanced down at his watch, "probably on her way back to Seattle by now. I'm sorry about yesterday, I had no idea she'd go to see you and say what she did."

"You heard about that?" Rachel wondered who had told Harvey about her little encounter with Anna, it was probably Antwon.

"I heard she tried out her claws on you, she never changes." Harvey smiled, knowing Rachel probably got her fair share of remarks in as well. She wasn't the type to sit down and take life blow by blow. ''Can I assume she's responsible for the black eye as well?" Harvey felt terrible about Anna getting to Rachel.

Rachel was surprised by his reply, "she left?" That wasn't what she was expecting to hear. She planned for him to let her down easy.

"The interest was there, the chemistry wasn't. We're both ready to move on." Harvey wanted to tell Rachel the real reason, he didn't want to miss the chance of a more promising future with her.

"What about Jerry?" Rachel was hoping that Anna wouldn't cut Harvey out of Jerry's life again for rejecting her advances. She couldn't live with that.

"I've got him for the next few weeks." Harvey knew having Jerry around might hinder their romance for a while, but he was sure it would be worth the wait. They had waited this long to be together, what was another few weeks.

"So that's it?" Rachel wanted to make sure she understood Harvey completely, that Anna was out of the picture and he wanted to be with her.

"That's it.'' He waited as he watched Rachel's eyes change and he moved in closer towards her and put his arms around her, "what about us? Am I too late?" Harvey knew Rachel wouldn't have gone out with anyone else so soon, at least that's what he hoped for. He appreciated Rachel wanting to see him happy with his son, but it was her he wanted to be with --- not Anna.

"Are you sure, this is what you want?" Rachel wanted to be sure he didn't feel pressured into anything with her, that he always had a chance to back out before going too far or taking the next step. Harvey's kiss answered her question.

"What are you doing tonight?" He didn't want to immediately present Jerry with him being in a new relationship, but Harvey wanted her to at least meet Jerry. He didn't want to lose anymore time with her. Rachel pointed to the boxes around her, Harvey could tell she was exhausted from the busy day and being reemed by Anna the day before. "How about this, you join Jerry and me for dinner and we'll help you when we get back?"

"It's a deal." Harvey sealed the deal by pulling her in for another kiss, "you know, I think I'll like having you in the neighborhood after all."
