Love is Love is something that no one can speak or show. Love is in the heart, a seed left to grow. Time tells a love, if a love is true, And when a love is shown not false, A love is shared by two. MKD

Bob and the Lord Bob and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero. It was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate whose name was Love. Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails. The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single, because Faith works with Love. The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch. Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass; Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked, because Godly Wisdom never swings at what Satan throws. The bases were now loaded. The Lord turned to Bob and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Bob said, "He sure doesn't look like much!" Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen. But Satan wasn't worried; his center fielder let very few fly by. He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; then it continued over the fence for a home run! The Lord's team won. The Lord then asked Bob if he knew why Love, Faith, and Godly Wisdom could get on base but could not win the game. Bob answered that he didn't know why. The Lord explained, "If your love, faith, and wisdom had won the game you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, faith, and wisdom will get you on base, but only My Grace can get you home." -Author Unknown

God Knows When you are tired and discouraged from fruitless efforts.....God knows how hard you have tried. When you've cried so long and your heart is in anguish.....God has counted your tears. If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by....God is waiting with you. When you're lonely and your friends are too busy even for a phone call.....God is by your side. When you think you've tried everything and don't know where to turn.....God has a solution. When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated.....God has the answer. If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope.....God has whispered to you. When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for.....God has blessed you. When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe.....God has smiled upon you. When you have a purpose to fulfill and a dream to follow.....God has opened your eyes and called you by name. Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are facing.....GOD KNOWS!! Author Unknown

A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever. She left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication. She got back to her car and found that she had locked her keys in the car. She didn't know what to do, so she called home and told the baby sitter what had happened. The baby sitter told her that the fever was getting worse. She said, "You might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door." The woman looked around and found an old rusty coat hanger that had been thrown down on the ground, possibly by someone else who at some time or other had locked their keys in their car. Then she looked at the hanger and said, "I don't know how to use this." So she bowed her head and asked God to send her some help. Within five minutes an old rusty car pulled up, with a dirty, greasy, bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag on his head. The woman thought, "This is what you sent to help me?" But, she was desperate, so she was also very thankful. The man got out of his car and asked her if he could help. She said, "Yes, my daughter is very sick. I stopped to get her some medication and I locked my keys in my car. I must get home to her. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?" He said, "Sure." He walked over to the car, and in less than a minute the car was opened. She hugged the man and through her tears she said, "Thank You So Much! You are a very nice man." The man replied, "Lady, I am not a nice man. I just got out of prison today. I was in prison for car theft and have only been out for about an hour." The woman hugged the man again and with sobbing tears cried out loud, "Oh, Thank you God! You even sent me a Professional!" I asked God for water, He gave me an ocean. I asked God for a flower, He gave me a garden. I asked God for a tree, He gave me a forest. I asked God for a friend, He gave me YOU.
