| The primary goals and purpose of this site are very simple. To inform the public of the dangers that have been associated with the use of 'Hartz Flea and Tick' products and there by preventing more animals from becoming victims of one of the oldest and most recognized pet product manufacturing companies in the United States. To educate the public on what their recourses are should their pets show any reaction to the use of these products. To enlist the aid of other pet lovers to join with us in our efforts to have Hartz flea products and other companies flea products which injury and kill our pets, such as Sargents and Bio Spot's flea products removed from sale. | I and many others associated with Against Hartz are doing what we can to stop the sale of these dangerous products. It's been a long fight for most of us and all to often we see a lack of progress in this fight. We will continue to do anything and everything possible to see that no more animals are injured or die as a result of the use of these products. It all comes down to the animals. Hartz is denying that 'any' animal was ever harmed by any of their products. Hartz would have you think they care about your animals That is the con job! they want the America public to buy. What it really is, is a lie. The only thing Hartz cares about is making a buck and they don't care how many innocent animals are injured or die from the use of their products We also know Hartz will not stop doing this unless the EPA forces them to stop. We need your help and support to win this fight. We need your support and good will. If you have the desire to help animals and save them from being harmed by a greedy company, plus some free time, we could use your help to pass out flyers, talk to stores that selling Hartz or by helping us with our letter campaigns, I urgue you to join our group. Together we can make a difference. I'd like to express my thanks to Lynn, Val, and Heidi for their help and support, which without this web site and other projects would not have become a reality. |

| Despite the EPA's agreement with Hartz to discontinue the sale of their Advanced Care 4 in 1 Flea and Tick Drops Plus for Cats and the Hartz Advanced Care 3 in 1 Flea and Tick Drops for Cats by March 31st 2006. Hartz flea products are still hurting our animals. We are now seeing reports of injury and deaths being attributed to Hartz Ultra Guard Flea & Tick Drops for cats, and Hartz Advanced Care 3 in 1, which is their replacement product. To see new reports go to www.hartzvictims.org We of course are still seeing incident reports about all Hartz flea products for both cats and dogs. These include all Hartz flea and tick, shampoo's, collar's, sprays and powders. If you care about your animals DO NOT USE ANY HARTZ PRODUCTS! Please help us save animals from Hartz by telling everyone you know that Hartz is not safe to use, they are dangerous! Also write the EPA and tell them they must respond to these new reports about Hartz's replacement flea products hurting animals, before hundreds more animals are needlessly injured due to Hartz flea products and the inability of the EPA's to properly protect the American consumer. |
| March 15, 2008 Hartz, despit the best efforts on the part of Against Hartz, HartzVictims and hundreds of people who are commited to informing the public of the dangerous of Hartz products continues to warm cats and dogs. The latest Hartz Vitamin Care for Cats have been pulled due to concerns that bottles within the lot may have been potentially contaminated with Salmonella. Thank you, FDA. Please do not use Hartz products for your pets and tell anyone you know not to use them. Help stop the harm and deaths. |
