One of the first women to pitch in the AHPA had a love and talent at pitching horseshoes. Flo had a lot of fun pitching. You could hear her all around the court yelling and encouraging others during doubles tournaments, but not to interfere with others. Other pitchers always got a great amount of joy out of her on the court antics. Flo retired from the sport in her seventies having won State Championships in 1979 and 1984
